Cute, but has a few flaws

"I got two pairs of these last summer, both in two different floral prints that are no longer available. I wore one of them maybe twice and the strap broke. They are also really loose on me. I wear a size 6 and they fit length-wise perfectly. However, I can't tighten the straps tight enough. When I have them as tight as they will go, they're still loose. They are really comfortable, and my second pair hasn't broken yet. However, I probably would not recommend getting these because they have kind of been more trouble than they're worth."

Extremely cute!!

"So, before i bought these i was very wary about the reviews. I paid attention to the complaints about the 'chemical smell', 'very cheap material', and 'buckle keeps breaking off'. When i opened the package the first thing i did was check for the chemical smell. Its slightly there, but not overwhelmingly so. The colors were bright and crisp and just looked AMAZING. And honestly, the quality isn't super super cheap, the stitching looked ok, the inside was a lot more comfortable than any of the flats i own, so overall, i'm extremely pleased with these and they are worth your purchase.
I bought the black flower print and mint cat print in a size 6 (i'm normally 61/2-7) and they fit perfectly."

"I Absolutely LOVE these shoes i have 4 pair and plan to buy more, they are comfortable and true to size and go with everything. i recommend every girl should buy some, tomboish, or girly they are super cute :))"

"I bought the cat print and the dark floral print. These shoes are adorable, and you can't really beat $10 a pair. My only issue is the strong chemical smell that they have, but I am sure it will fade quickly. Buy them! You won't regret it."

"I got THE CUTEST print of this shoe 2 years ago and received so many compliments and inquiries. But, after about a year the (cheaply made) buckle broke. But f=for the price it was the quality I expected. And regardless, I still want to get another pair, I just wish they had as cute of a print this year!"

A College MUST!

"These shoes are perfect for a college girl on the run! These cute shoes take up barely any space at ALL! I ordered the mint colored shoes with the cats on them, and the floral print shoes. They are so cute and fashion forward. These are definitely coming with me this fall for college. I cannot wait to wear these around and show my cute little shoes off! I ordered a size 8, and they are true to size! They fit like a glove, and are super comfy! The only con about these shoes would definitely be the soles of the shoes. They are made from rubber and have a bad odor about them. But I'm sure with some perfume the smell will go away!"

"I bought a pair of these shoes a year ago and since then I have received sooo many compliments and questions about where I got them. They are also by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They have lasted me a year and are still going, in fact I'm wearing them right now! For ten dollars a piece you can't beat it. They're very stylish also, and go with everything! Shorts, jeans, skinny jeans, dress em up or down. Amazing!"

My Go To Shoes

"I have the Mary Janes in 4 different prints. I was skeptical at first due to "getting what I paid for". The first day that I wore them, they broke!!! But I loved them so much that I bought some more, and before wearing them, I reinforced (by sewing) the cloth piece with the buckle. I have NO SEWING SKILLS...but doing this basic thing made all the difference. I have had my shoes for months, they have held up nicely. I wash them in an intimates bag to avoid tearing. I got A LOT of compliments on how cute these shoes are. My tip: REINFORCE the cloth piece with the buckle BEFORE wearing. FYI I have not unbuckle my shoes since the first day I wore them, they slip on and off with ease."

"I got the one in daisy print. It is really adorable and sweet looking despite having a few flaws. Firstly, unbuckling and buckling it is quite a chore as it is really hard to get the strap through the buckle (which is made of a cheap plastic metallish material). The quality of the shoe isn't fantastic as well. It's just like a cloth. But you get what you pay for! I can see myself wearing this with anything from dresses to shorts. Might even pair it with cute socks! Whether it will last in the long run or not...we'll see. All in all I think this is a rather good buy (it's cheap) and yet so cute and COMFORTABLE. It is sooo comfortable and i really love it. A plus point for that (: It doesn't really have a strong smell.. not like what the other reviewers said. It might have a little smell but it really don't bother me much. Wish that UO can bring in more designs though!"

"I love these shoes! Cheap and comfy for a quick and lazy day out! They are not made with high quality material. But I won't complain for the price! You get what you paid for! Oh, and the scent is strong but it will go away. Not that it bugs me at all... Ha ha! Xo"

"I bought two pairs, the mint kitty and the black floral, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase! Like others have said, the buckles are poorly sewn sometimes, but very easy to stitch back together. Luckily, it's just loose stitching, so it's not a deal breaker as if, say, the fabric ripped. They are adorable and comfy. They are a tiny bit on the small side, so if you wear a half size (like me), order up, not down, and they should fit perfectly."

"I love Mary Janes very much! I have four pairs and I plan on buying more! Only a few minor mishaps, my buckle broke on my mint pair but I fixed it easily! With my black and floral pair I ripped the buckle off by trying to not undo the buckle when I took it off and it was ugly, but I sewed it back on, now it's sturdier than ever! Haha So be very careful with them they are a very delicate shoe to begin with. I wouldn't recommend wearing them in rain, snow, or mud because they are a very thin shoe. Your foot will be freezing cold and wet! Also when you first receive them they will have a very strong rubber smell but it does go away with wear! Overall I do recommend them!"

"I do agree with the previous reviews, these shoes totally take some time to 'master'. If you don't check over these shoes before you buy them you could buy a dirty defective pair. My friend has these too and her buckle came off the second day of wearing them. They totally smell weird too like a combination of rubber and sweet tarts, I left them in my car and my car smelled like that after. BUT I think these shoes are so incredibly adorable. I wear them with jeans, shorts, dresses. I have the black pair, the white floral and the red multi color print pair. They are so cute I didn't think I would end up with 3 pairs but they are so comfy, like house slippers. These shoes are made cheaply and are cheap but they are comfortable but if you take care of them you will have them and love them for a long time! Runs true to size, but I would try them on in store and buy them in store to insure you buy ones in nearly perfect condition."

"I love this shoe. Its been years since I have seen them in stores! the original version had a different wider shaped feet but these are shaped more like Toms. They look good on my size 10 feet. I bought 2 pair the same day. One fit perfect and loose the other did not...but same size. I have been waiting for black to come off back order. True they are thin and I would not wear them on a rainy day and it feels like im wearing socks...you can feel everything through the sole. But they are fun and worth 10 bucks! I am a big fan of any Mary Jane style anyway!"

"Well, these shoes do take some 'mastering'. I would start off with buying one pair, in stores, prefferably, so you can actually see what they look like and smell like. They so have a very plasticy/silicon smell, but the more you wear them, the smell goes away. I suggest that after buying them, sew the little strap on, so that it would snap off, problem solved. Also, since thay are SUPER thin, I put some insole for comfort. I would recommend these for around the house use, but if you wanna use them for shcool and other things, don't run with them of use them for athletics, duh. Overall, I've bought 7 pairs in the last two years, they just need some getting used to, but they are beautiful shoes."

ARE THEY WORTH IT???

"Cute,cheap - and I mean cheap as both money wise AND quality - but hey, you get it for an okay price! So I read the reviews thoroughly so I wouldn't get any surprises so here's the rundown:
YES they do smell like chemicals...I don't have a really sensitive nose, so it doesn't bother me. If you do happen to hate smells STAY AWAY!
YES they are hella thin. It's like fabric and then they added an extra layer of a slightly thicker fabric and called it a shoe....at least the prints are cute...
YES the buckle is suuuuuuuper cheap! It's like they popped of the soda can bottle caps and attached it to the shoe....loosely...so if you want this shoe to last a wee bit longer, reinforce it with a few stitches.
YES get a size smaller. I'm usually an 8 and I have wide feet, so I ignored what the reviews said about it running big...and boy do I regret it...So i'll be exchanging my shoes for a size 7 in the meantime.
So is it really worth it??? Not in the long run, but hey, at least your feet are cute asf for a while xD"

"I went in-store and bought these today with some difficulty... EVERY SINGLE PAIR I FOUND WAS SIZE 9! I just thought I would share that... literally 9/10 of the shoes were 9's. Anyways, they're great! They're true to size, and exactly what you would expect. The fabric is thin, and I plan on them eventually ripping and wearing down, but they're only 10 bucks! You'll definitely get your money's use of them."

"Okay, I will agree with other reviewers that these are cheaply made, offer no support, and aren't good for all day use. BUT they are cheap. So cheap. $10 a pair if you buy two. And where else are you going to get such cute prints and colors? I got the red pattern and a pair of bright yellow ones. I wouldn't want to spend $40 on a pair of shoes like this because I wouldn't wear them enough to make it worth the money. At least with these shoes I can have bright fun patterns for less, even with the draw backs... remember, they're cheap."

Great shoes, But they smell a little weird...

"I had to order a size down because usually I am a 7, 7 1/2, so I had to order 6's because 7 was big. Which was a great move because the fabric stretches anyways because it is like a canvas material. They are my favorite shoes, however, they have this strong rubber smell that is really bad. And I've worn them for like a month and a half and they still smell..."
