"Love this! I got the light grey...slightly more tan/taupe grey than I thought but still beautiful and looks great with the duvet's fluff inside of it. No issues with smell or stiffness or durability. Wash delicate cycle!"

Very Cute and Subtle!

"Many of the comments said that this item would be very rough. I don't think its rough at all, but I do agree it isn't the softest material, just get some soft sheets. I got the pink and it looks so cute! not too vibrant, but you can still see the color. It looks kind of white in my picture, but it looks like a pale pink in person. If you choose to buy the shams, they are sorta transparent so get plain white pillows for them! Overall I am enjoying this product."

A Bit Scratchy

"I have had this for about a year. It has held up really nicely but the fabric is still a little bit scratchy. It is a really pretty color and is true to the picture. I have not had any problems with the ruffles on the edges tarring off like some other reviews said... Overall I really do like it."

"i was super excited to order this duvet for my new room, which i was painting an off white. the ivory color online looked quite white so i ordered it but when i received it and put it in my room, it was alot more cream colored than pictured so beware! also the fabric is not as soft as i expected, and the ruffles look a tad cheaply made as if they'll rip easily. not sure if ill be exchanging for another color."

"I purchased this bedding after admiring it for months. I moved into a new apartment and although it looked beautiful, i've had it in my room for only a little over a month and the ruffle has completely ripped. Im so disappointed."

"I love this bedding. I don't think it's rough at all. I love the color (I have it in turquoise); it's fantastic. I folded over the ruffles near my face (check the photo I added) so I don't even notice them when I sleep. I definitely recommend this product!"

Exactly What I Wanted But Was Afraid to Expect

"With everyone commenting on the softness (or lack thereof) of the fabric this duvet was made of, I expected a very scratchy duvet cover that I would only use for decoration and then, come night time, toss back to the foot of my bed similarly to how I deal with hotel comforters. I definitely do not think this fabric is the softest ever, but I feel the need to make a comment that it is MUCH softer than I anticipated after reading the reviews. I washed it once, and I love it. I got the PURPLE color, and it is the exact shade as pictured and looks lovely in my bedroom. I love this and the matching shams."

"This duvet is just the style I wanted. It is minimalistic with a feminine touch. Its not the softest fabric but hey - thats what sheets are for. I did read in a previous review about the fabric so I was prepared for it not to be as soft as I would normally want. If i hadn't known I would be irked when it arrived. The pictures and description are spot on for the most part. This is a good item, I've had uo bedding before that held up pretty well in the past and I expect the same from this piece. Would recommend."

"I bought the grey colour and was very happy with my purchase. I'm not quite sure what people are talking about in terms of the quality.. feels fine to me! The ruffle around the edge is pretty and subtle. I've got a pretty thin duvet inside which is why it doesn't look as luscious as the UO photo. The only problem I have with the cover is that the colour doesn't match the shams I bought (as you might be able to see in the photo). The shams are more of an olive green and the cover is more grey. But it's one of those things that you don't really notice until it's pointed out to you... it's a good cover, I'm very happy!"

"I love this duvet. But hand wash? Yeah right. I turned it inside out so the ruffles wouldn't get ruined and washed and dried on gentle cycle. Turned out great."

"I origianlly ordered this duvet, online, for my guest bedroom. Once I received it I thought id try it out in my bedroom instead. It looks nice but it isnt soft at all. The material is rough and its going straight back into my guest room. I love the look of it so im going to keep it, I just wont ever use it on my bed."

"I'm very happy with this duvet cover! The "ivory" isn't as creamy as I thought it would be but no big deal it's still a great neutral colour that goes with everything! The texture on mine is fine and when shipping to Australia there is no damage or tears - love it! :)"

A good surprise

"I was looking around on UO for a duvet to go with my new bed, and by looking at the reviews, this was the best bet for something pretty and affordable. Yes, the texture is a bit rough, but it IS cotton, so I'm hoping maybe a wash will soften it a little. I also wasn't initially worried about any color difference (the olive green tint for grey), but I also bought the grey tuxedo ruffle shams to mix it up a bit and it turns out, the ruffle duvet looks a little khaki in fluorescent lighting while the shams look like the olive green others were describing. Both look like the same shade of grey though in natural lighting, so I don't know what's up with that. They somehow work well together though. All in all, it was a good buy."

"I got this duvet in the navy color. I agree with the other reviews about how it isn't as soft as expected. The color looks just like it does in the pictures. I like it but I think the quality could be better...haven't decided if I'm going to keep it yet."

With a Touch of Ruffles

"I love my duvet! At first it wasn't exactly what I was expecting, it isn't as soft as I thought it would be but it's not horrible. I bought this duvet for my dorm and it's absolutely gorgeous! I put a down alternative in it and now it's fluffy and very comfortable. Although my dorm bed is a twin because it's raised it's not too long and it hides the storage items under my bed. When I ordered this the matching shams were backordered so i paired it with the "Waterfall ruffle shams"(which I also love and are amazing and pretty and like most say best when used with big fluffy pillows). Not a sea of ruffles but just enough to add the look I was going for."
