"I just received these today. I have to say, I am very impressed. I am an exact 8.5 and I purchased the size 8 in black. They are oddly a great length, with a perfect amount of space in front of the toes (about 1 cm in front of my big toes). If they were any longer, it would be too much. Which is why if you are a half-size, I suggest half-sizing down. It worked for me. These are very comfortable, very well-cushioned sandals. They are a bit snug at the moment, but I would imagine that is deliberate as they are made of leather and are meant to be broken into. I would highly recommend purchasing these."

"these shoes are so comf. takes a while to break them in and you can expect a somewhat significant level of discomfort during that week or two (depending on how frequently you wear them), but its 100% worth it. once the leather is worn in a bit these shoes are easily the best pair you'll ever own!"

"Really well made and very comfortable sandals- however, I am sending them back because they did not run true to size ( 39 was far too big- I could have gone a 37 or 38) and they could look a little clunky. The heel is swede which I did not expect and therefore not good in wet weather. The colour was a little disappointing- it is much lighter than in the photo, just like a nude bandaid as the other review states......). But I probably would have kept them if they were not so huge and the colour probably darkens over time. Seriously thinking about buying a smaller size in the future though because of the quality and comfort and the great heel size."

"awesome pair of good quality leather sandals, which have been looking great over stockings as i await warmer weather. the price is a little high, but for the quality and versatility of these vintage-y sandals, i think it's worth it. the only issue i have with them is that they are a little narrow. i have broad-ish feet and they feel a little squeezed after a few hours. still super comfortable though! but if you have wide, fleshy feet, you might want to buy these in-store to make sure they fit nicely.
i bought these in black. looking to buy the higher wedge version in beige!"

Great shoe, nude color a bit off...

"I bought the nude color, and depending on your skin tone they may look really great or...not so great. :) I'm debating on returning them because of this. It reminds me of the nude band-aids. However, they're extremely comfortable, and I feel like they won't wear down easily. Also, I wear a US size 10, and am 5'10'' and I think depending on the size of your foot and how weight distributes on your body they may make your feet look huge."
