My best bag so far!

"I love the bag!. As it was said it's a little too big, but that's fine. Now it's the only bag I have that can contain my 18.5" laptop! The fabric is great, it's kinda rough which is great, because it doesn't tear too easily. Being big sometimmes turns out for the best, as sometimes there's a great need for bagspace. :)"

GREAT bag for carry-on

"Would recommend. I travel quite a bit and have been looking, for quite awhile, for a bag that can fit all my mags and my lappie (along with purse items). This does the trick. Got it in creme, because that was all that was left online. I'm a bit worried about it getting dirty, but overall, for the price, I'll risk it."

Legit Bag, Can hold literally everything!

"I've had this bag for about 2 weeks and I'm constantly on the go and this bag is a life saver. It literally carries everything. Its sturdy and I haven't had any problems with it. I get complimented on it and I just think this bag is such a great buy. I got it in the lighter color, I think ivory and sometimes I put it on the ground but it somehow stays clean. The thread they use is like multi colored, like with a bunch of different hues of cream so its good with dirt. I'm just glad I finally found my perfect bag."

"I had been eyeing this for a while but the price tag always deterred me. When a good enough promotion came around, I quickly added this to my shopping cart. Got this for myself as a bag for college, though it can be used as a carry-on bag for travel as well. I needed something that was durable and not ugly to carry textbooks, notebooks, daily necessities, and the like. This bag did not disappoint. It is colossal and holds a thick peacoat, makeup bag, binder, scarf, pencil case, cellphone, water bottle, and keys with plenty of room to spare. The buckles are adjustable if you want to extend the front pocket. The crossbody strap is also adjustable. The short handles are very stiff and a little short to comfortably carry over my shoulder so I refrain from using them often. I ordered this in ivory but it's actually a slightly darker oatmeal color with tiny flecks of different-colored fabrics. I preferred the lighter off-white on the website but I guess it's a good thing it's darker in person, it won't get dirty as easily. The canvas is thick and I'm sure it'll last me for a long time."

"I got the color in ivory because my best friend has the one in tan and it's definitely more like a brown. It came in the mail today and the color is gorgeous! It's a creamy beige color which was what I was hoping for. I don't know what to do with the longer strap though because it just looks silly on me when I carry it that way. Hopefully the strap will be of use when I go travelling and have too many items to lug around. :) I'm going to use this bag as a school bag for now! It's perfect."

"I love this bag!! It has so much room and it is durable so its a good thing for me since I carry so many things for school. Although I wanted the tan one, the ivory one is also not that bad. It is not exactly ivory, its more like a beige color in my opinion. I would recommend this bag, because if you are a type of person who carries a lot of weight and items then you should purchase this. Thanks Urban Outfitters!! :D"

"Just received this today 12/25 for a present along w/other UO items. As other reviewers have said, the color was unexpected (i have the black/charcoal one). I thought it'd be darker and a different type of material. I still love it though and it's huge! It's perfect for stuffing my books, wallet, etc. in. Plus, the additional strap makes it even better."

"I like the bag. Perfect casual tote but really large! I wanted a large tote for work but this would even work for an overnight bag. A bit shapless but able to hold a lot of stuff. With all that said, it's a nice bag for he sale price but I'll keep it but look for something smaller."

"so i saw this bag online while creating my xmas wish list and liked the overall look. generally, i am a big bag type of girl so this obviously caught my attention. after reading a few reviews that said the bag didn't seem to last too long or that the bag was TOO BIG, i decided to go for it anyway. I just got it today and I couldn't wait to open and i'm glad i made the purchase. the bag is, yes, quite big, but it's not duffle bag big. it's perfect for school or a weekend getaway. I dont go to school, but I do carry a lot of things in my bags and this will hold everything i need. the bag also seems really sturdy. zippers work just fine... only time will tell but so far, i'm happy!"

Great quality bag

"I've had this bag since July, and usually by this time (5 months later) I'm having to start looking for a new bag because the current one is tearing up. This bag is still in near-perfect shape, and that's even with all of the junk I carry around. I probably carry 15+ pounds of stuff in my bag, and the only thing that's showing any sign of wear is the edge of the straps, and that has nothing to do with the functionality of the bag. This is probably the best purse I've ever owned."

"i needed a new school bag since my backpack was too tiny and trust me this bag is much bigger! haha although it is really big, it fits all my stuff and is a convenient bag. the tan is darker in person but now im less worried about it getting dirty. good school bag if you have a lot of books or weekender/sleepover bag."

"So I was thrilled when I bought this bag AT FIRST...it holds everything, there's pockets, and the straps are pretty durable. However, after less than a year of use, the entire bottom seams of the bag have unraveled and the bag is no longer usable after I tried to fix it twice. If you plan on using this bag for school to carry heavy books, I'd think twice about buying it!"

"I love this bag. It's beautiful, and it gave the semblance of durability - but be wary, because it's not. I use this bag for school, and the metal part that holds the messenger strap broke! I had to tie the strap around the metal circle! I carry 5 notebooks, a few leisure books & review books, and writing utensils. That's about it. I'm going to try out this bag again because I've loved it the first month that I had it."

A great "everything" bag

"I have had this bag since the beginning of last spring semester. It has held up very well with a couple of issues, but none that would deter me from recommending it to someone. Maybe I just carry around too much weight at once in my bag but the long strap kept coming off so I just unclipped it and don't use it anymore. I also think one of the buckles was sewn on incorrectly as it never stays buckled in place. This bag holds my laptop, at least 2 textbooks, notebooks, makeup bag, 2-3 water bottles, and other small odds and ends at once. It's well worth the price!"

"So I don't normally write reviews, but I have to say that I love this bag! It holds ALL of my things, laptop, iPad, books for school etc and it goes with everything. The "black" is more of a grey and I am totally ok with that. The smaller handles are super durable and I wear the bag over my shoulder all the time. However, I do have one complaint- which is why it got 4 stars and not 5-after wearing the bag literally on the first day, the metal piece from the longer strap broke when I tried to carry it the long way ={{{ I was sooooo bummed, but it is somewhat fixable If I take it to a shoemaker or something. BUT in the defense of the bag, I had a TON of stuff and the bag is only 58 bucks! For now, the smaller handles will do until I can get it fixed. Wished UO could replace ={{ But overall, great bag!"

"I have had the "Black" version of this bag for a little over 2 years, and I am just finally replacing it. I love this bag. Its cute enough that you can carry it everyday, even to work, and large enough that you can pack it for a trip. I have used this as a carry on, a weekender, and a laptop case. The black is actually more of a greyish navy, and it wears over time without making it look old, so the color around the seams gets lighter, which is something I really like about it.
The reason I am replacing it isn't because its broken, although the seams around the zipper popped pretty early into my bag's life, but because a breakfast smoothie exploded in it."

"I love this bag. It is big and sturdy enough to hold my books for school. The only issue i had was the first time I even wore it the fabric got stained from rubbing on my jeans. There is no way to prevent the bag from touching your jeans and since i wear jeans a lot i was pretty dissapointed. It is probably easy to clean I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Great bag though"
