"pros- all over 2 tone sequins (i hate when sequins only cover the front), length, cut. good price for this type of dress.
this dress is sexy and sure to dazzle, great for new year's!

"Depending on where I buy a dress I'm usually a 4ish. I'm 5'8 125lb.This dress runs BIG! I kept trying on sizes thinking there's no way i wear a 2. But it ends up that the 2 was short enough and fit perfect. The top is very tank top cut. Like wife beater style. that's what turned me off about it. But everything else is soo fun about it. Two way sequins are NEVER a bad idea! Good short party dress!"

"The moment I saw this dress online I fell in love. I had been looking for that perfect full black sequin dress for a while and this was exactly what I was looking for. I rushed to my local UO to try it on and make a purchase, but I wish I had just stayed home.
I am usually a size 8 or 10. I'm 5'1, 34 or 36B, but the rest of my body is very curvy (I weigh 150 lbs, which is odd because with that number, mixed with my height, I still don't look OBESE haha. I just carry weight well I guess). They had one 8 and my heart skipped a beat. I snatched it up and went into the dressing room. That's where my joy stopped. The dress wouldn't go past my thighs. Although the top fit nice and snug, the bottom was so tight that I could hardly get it on and off! I was discouraged, but I thought maybe it just ran small. Unfortunately they didn't have a 10, so I tried on the next size up they had: a 12. The 12 was JUST AS TIGHT AROUND THE THIGHS but this time I had about 5 inches of extra material on my top. I was absolutely heartbroken. I didn't even bother looking for a 10 elsewhere.
I really don't understand why the 12 (one of, if not, the largest size UO carries) couldn't even fit the behind of someone who is an 8 or a 10! The best way I could describe the size 12 in this dress, is that it seems it was made, not for a curvy woman with a little extra to offer, but for a woman who is a size 4 at the most and has FAKE BOOBS. That's the ONLY person I could imagine fitting into this.
UO, I love you, but you broke my heart by teasing me with this dress :(
All in all...
PROS:
- The material of this dress is GORGEOUS. the sequins are two sided, one side black, one side silver, and they are relatively movable. Like, if you swipe your hand across the fabric you can make patterns by exposing the silver side of the sequins. I loved that so much.

- The style is cute and simple. You could pair it up with a black blazer and high heels and UGH it would look wonderful (if it actually FIT you).
CONS:
- This dress runs SMALL! SMALL! SMALL! I'm fairly certain you wont be able to wear this dress unless you are less than a size 4 and have absolutely NO behind on you, because after trying on multiple sizes, it's clear that this dress is NOT made for anyone with a butt.

- I didn't mention this in the review but, THE SEQUINED MATERIAL SCRATCHES. Not itchy-scratches, but I-physically-had-scrapes-and-scratches-under-my-arms-and-on-my-sides-scratches after only wearing the dress for 10 minutes in the dressing room. The scratches were red and stayed for days. I think one even broke the skin a little.
- The top runs HUGE after you pass a size 8. There was 5 inches of extra fabric on the top on other sizes I tried on. I guess this is to accommodate the extra weight larger sizes would have but it just doesn't make sense when the skirt is 5 sizes smaller than the top."

"When i saw this dress online i thought it would be perfect because of the short length and apparently tight fit (im 5.5 and 89 lbs, so it can be hard to fit things) but the 0 was definitley on the loose side, so i had to have it altered. other than that it was a great look for the event i was going to!!"

"I am usually a size four in dresses, and I decided to upsize to the six because I wanted it to fit a little loose so I could move in it, and it was a perfect fit! I'm 5'8", 130lbs, 34C or D. I bought it for New Year's Eve, and the dress is absolutely gorgeous and eye catching, plus my boyfriend loved playing with the sequins all night because they're silver on one side, black on the other."

"i initally saw this online and fell in love. i tried it on in the store in my size (2) (5'2 123 lbs) and it was saggy everywhere! they didnt have a zero so i traveled to a different store to try the 0. not cute. the material was already starting to snag. great idea. bad product :( BUMMER"

"Overall, this dress is really neat. The reversable sequin fabric is awesome, and the cut is nice as well. The only bad thing about this dress is that it runs really small (at least in my opinion). I'm 5'9'' 165lbs, and the 12 was SUPER tight. The fitted silhouette is very unforgiving. Regardless, I'm keeping it, just because a dress like this is really unique, and one day, it will fit."

"im 5' 6'' and about 135lbs and i think this is a great looking dress for a nice event. it fit true to size, at least with me, and the only complaint is that the material is prickly but that isnt a good enough reason to not get it. its a great dress and for what its made out of and the labor that goes into it i think its reasonably priced. double sided material is so smart and adds a nice twist to a simple style dress"

"I have quite wide shoulders, but this dress fit me almost perfectly, even though it was a little tight around the hips compared to the shoulders. Love the fabric, as you can choose between the colours silver, black, or a combination of both. The length is equivalent to what is displayed in the picture, but if you're normal size and not model thin, it will be tighter than in the picture. Overall it's a great dress."

"I had to exchange this dress for a 0 because the 2 was too big. I would recommend going one to two sizes down. Not really sure why the other reviewer would recommend going UP in size. I am 5"8', 110-115 lbs, and 34B if that helps anyone. Other than the size issue, the dress is beautiful- much prettier in person. The sequins are so cool because if you brush your hand over them one way, they are black, and if you brush it the other way, they are silver, so you can customize the dress or just have a mixture of black and silver."

As soon as I got this in the mail I had to try it on (looked small)
I thought it wasn't going to fit over my waist but it did - snug fit, but the straps slack a little if you are not standing perfectly straight - it will require some adjustments.
Overall I love how it is not one shade, I won't be able to decide if I want it to be black or silver - two dresses in one! Can't complain."
