"I love sperrys!!!!
I just bought them, and I've had them for about 6 months. I've heard you wear them forever. BUT the pair that I got had a horrible sole to the shoe. I wore them just like how I wear my other pair. I love the look. I love how they go with a lot of my outfits. BUT I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD GIVE ME ANOTHER PAIR BECAUSE I'VE HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THESE. WHY ARE THE SOLES OF THESE PAIR OF SHOES ROLLING UP ON THE ARCH AREA????"

"i just got these guys yesterday afternoon! absolutely beautiful shoes! super comfortable, and they have a perfectly semi-broken in look when you put them on. i'd recommend them to anyone! only thing is make sure you try them on in-store before i'm usually a size 9.5 but i dropped down to an 8 in these shoes, so be warned, especially since you wear these barefoot, the size drops. buy them!!"

"I have about 5 or 6 pairs of Topsiders, and I can assure you that these are the most comfortable pair I've ever purchased. The leather feels so incredibly soft that it's almost more like a moccasin than a boat shoe. It does run about a half size smaller, and it's probably due to the thickness of the material, but like all Sperry's, they sort of expand as you wear them. I got the shoes in Navy along with the Abel Brown Jacket to match. The cool thing about Sperry's, as someone mentioned earlier is that you can dress them up and you can dress them down- they really are a classic, cool template sort of shoe that only adds to your overall look- not to mention they really don't go out of style. You get what you pay for with Sperry's; they do a good job at making sure their stuff isn't "disposable". I live on the north shore of Long Island, so I've spent countless days on the water, and over the past decade or so I've had 5 pairs over the past decade and they are practically good as new despite their frequent use. These things last long- way longer than the Sebago and Timberland counterparts (I've owned both and the quality really doesn't compare. The Timberlands were falling apart after 2 weeks of just walking and Sebago's cost more and it only took a few months before the sole was tearing off). If you're hesitant about throwing down 80 bones for these, you should know that they really will be one of your better purchases. They're not the type of shoe that'll last you just a season or a year, they'll last until you retire them and then some. They work with practically any style and are perfect from toddlers, to university students; from Williamsburg hipsters, to your 83 year old grandfather. You name it and I bet they could wear them. These things really are a great buy, and they work with practically anything. You won't regret it, and I bet you'll be coming back for more."

"Like the title says, tight at first, but the leather loosen over time. If you wear them with socks, they're a bit tight too, but I hardly ever do, so that's not really a problem for me. I have have gone through two pairs of the dark brown pair in 2 years. And that may seem bad, but that's just a testament to how much I wear them. I wore them everywhere and in any season. To the beach, through the mud, and to me, the more worn down they look, the better. Great shoes."

"Bought shoes 8 months ago now and have lasted surprisingly long, still wearing them into winter. Love em so much I feel then need to spread the word. UO has them for an epic price, consider Sperry is such a well established name. Recommend buying smaller if not sure, they stretch heaps. Plus get loads of comments on them so its a win win."

"I ordered these in black and brown and am really looking forward to wearing them in the summer. They run a little large, length-wise. Other than that, they're great. If you haven't ever owed or tried on a pair of sperrys, I would warn also that they are very shallow. Nearly all my shoes are fairly low cut, but these are definitely the lowest.
Also, the leather on the inside around the ankle area tends to stain your skin or socks the first couple wears. Don't wear white socks the first time you try them on. Overall, I love these shoes."

"Be warned about those others reviews suggesting they run small. I read all of them and doubted whether to size up or not, but didn't in the end. I'm normally an 11 and I bought an 11; they fit fine, even a little roomy lengthwise.
They do take some breaking in and fit pretty tight around your foot on the first few wears, but they were true to size for me. I suspect the other reviewers wrote theirs after their first few wears rather than waiting until they were broken in.
Fantastic pair of shoes, if a bit painful for the first few wears."

"There's not much to say other than these shoes deliver on what they promise. They are very well constructed and should see a lot of wear. The insole has great arch and heel support and feels awesome to wear. Colour was the same as in the picture (Brown). I originally ordered in a size up and (surprise surprise) they were too large. Reordered in my normal size and they fit perfectly. Ideal for warmer weather, goes well with a pair of shorts or chinos rolled at the cuff. If you don't own a pair, do yourself a favor and get some. You'll be glad you did."

"Very happy with these, I bought the dark brown color with the white bottoms. They look GREAT with everything. I love them! The white soles don't get dirty as easily as you'd think either. I think they run a tad large. Bought a 12, and they were tight at first (had to wear socks to break them in or else I would have unholy blisters... ouch) but then they stretched a good bit. But that's fine with me because I have wide feet."

"These shoes are the nicest looking shoes I have ever owned. However, they do run very very small. I was completely shocked to have purchased a pair of another sperrys (not these) from urban that were the same size as these. Only to discover these were way smaller than the other pair I got and were the same size. Can rub on your foot and give insane blisters if its too small. Therefore, order a size up or a half. I wish I had. These shoes are amazing, just get the right size. Recommend physically buying them at a store. Who cares how expensive it is, its worth it."
