"I bought this and it got in the mail all rugged. I was expecting something more to be honest. I think a real chalkboard would be so much better. Works very good if you plan to put in inside your door or something like that."

"I was really excited to get this product, there nothing like it anywhere else. The problem I had with it is that it DOES NOT stick to the wall. It kept pealing off, I ended up taping it up and they still would fall off. I just took them down the other day and threw them away. Defiantly a huge waste of money."

Love It- Cut it to Size

"I really enjoy this chalkboard. I cut it to size to fit inside my pantry door to write notes about our grocery list. It was easy to install. It stuck well and looks great without all the hassle of chalkboard paint. The only drawback is that I tried to use the remaining scraps in the garage and when I tried to reposition, it took paint and texture off the wall with it."

"I love this wall decal. It's a great size and works just like a real chalkboard without the bulk. Makes me want to buy chalkboard paint and paint the whole wall instead!"

A little disappointed

"I was really excited to receive this product, however when I received the package it fell out as the delivery guy was handing it to me. I'm lucky to have received the product at all. As a result of the poor packaging the two pieces of chalk that were supposed to come with the board were missing. UO should make sure packaging is more secure. The product is a good size, perfect for the "list enthusiast". It's very sticky so I'm taking another reviewers advice and adhering it to foam or poster board first so it can come along with me when I move. Overall still glad I bought the product and can't wait to use it!"

"I am happy with this purchase. I bought it for my new apartment to write down all of my to do lists. I had a little trouble with the decal sticking to my wall, so I used two pushpins on either corner along the top and haven't had a problem since."

"Was debating for weeks over whether to buy a real chalkboard or just paint a small chalkboard on my wall with chalkboard paint for my daughter, but having no time to either shop for a real one or make the paint to paint one, I procrastinated. I saw this and, though skeptical, decided to try it out. I bought two of the black ones and put them side by side to make one big chalkboard. The outcome? These things ROCK!!!! They feel like plastic but once you draw on them, they feel just like a real chalkboard, and they behave exactly like a real one - meaning you just wipe it down with an eraser or a rag, and clean it with straight water. I thought maybe bumping them up together would produce a seam that the chalk would get caught on, but no! The seam is actually seamless - feels like one big, uninterrupted board. Love this product a ton!!!!"

"I think this is the coolest thing ever! I love it! I got the black and it comes with 2 pieces of white chalk so I went out and bought side walk chalk (the thick chunky kind for kids) and it sorta all looks white. So I am planning on getting the small kind that is like neon colors (what I originally wanted but couldnt find). I peeled it up once after I did it to get a bubble out and noticed it took the paint off the wall in some spots :/ good thing I never want to take it off, but careful incase you cant damage your wall! I put it next to my desk in my bedroom so when I do homework I can jot things down. It is so cute and I am thinking of getting some sort of fabric or somthing to line it and give it a boarder. It is easy to put on because bubbles come out real easy, but is a 2 person job... Good luck!"

"This vinyl chalkboard does not only act as a decoration, it is pretty useful as a grocery shopping list. It doesn't peel the paint off the wall, and its easy to erase with just tissue!"

"I bought this product a few weeks ago and have been extremely happy with it! I put it on my kitchen wall to write down grocery lists, recipes, things to do, and notes for my husband. I bought this because there is a door for a fuse box on my kitchen wall that is super ugly and I wanted to cover up. However, I didn't realize that the chalkboard is such thin material, you could still see the outline of the fuse box door underneath. So I bought a piece of foam core and stuck the adhesive board to it. It stuck fine, I trimmed the edges, and nailed it to the wall. It looks great and is a ton of fun!"

"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this in my kitchen. I bought this because I never have a pencil and pen around when I run out of something when I am cooking. This makes my shopping list super accessible! It is easy to put up and writes very smoothly! Added bonus: while I am cooking my 5 year old draws on the bottom of the board where she can reach!"
