Decent Shirt.

"While I was happy with the print on the shirt I received, I was a bit surprised by how thick the material was. I suppose I should have expected it from flannel, but it really is very dense and a little stiff, which limits what you can tuck it in to etc. Still, the collar is cute and I should get some wear out of it."

Not what I was expecting but

"it's definitely a keeper. I like my clothes to fit baggy and loose, and though I alternate between small and medium, I usually end up getting medium. I don't know why a lot of reviewers were saying the fit was super large, because I found my medium to be perfect in its boxiness and bagginess. It's lovely and seems to be well made, and I'm happy to say that my blue flannel was prettier than the one the model was wearing - which is a huge plus, considering how much of a lottery the Urban Renewal pieces are. All in all, quite satisfied."

"My 21 year old daughter likes this and has worn it since receiving it at Xmas. For this reason I will repair it and not return it. One sleeve is partially unsewn and will have to be stitched up."

Red... not so red.

"I ordered the beautiful red colored flannel and when I received it, I was reminded of my late grandpa's green and red flannel man shirts he would wear at Christmas. It looks nothing like the picture. It's more green and dull red. Just thought I would let you know. I did order a M and it fit great (I am 5'8" 140 lbs) but the color is all wrong."

"I've fallen in love with this shirt. Like other reviewers have said, the material is shabby, but since it's made with recycled fabrics, you understand why. Also, since this is Urban Renewal, you know that each shirt is going to be different. I bought mine in the store, and I'm so glad I found it there, because they had so many different shirts! Some were in crazy colors that I couldn't even categorize based on the website options (magenta with turquoise, for example). If there *is* an UO near you, I really would suggest you try to find the shirt in the store so you can choose which shirt is the one for you. If you can only order online, just be aware that Urban Renewal *is* a lottery and you may get something very different than you had in mind (but maybe not). The shirt itself is great, though -- I love the worn material contrasted with the frilly collar. And the flannel feels sturdy, so I should be able to continue to wear this when winter comes. I'm 5'5", about 140, 34C, and I bought a medium, which is roomy in every respect."

"i'm perfectly content with this purchase. i knew not to expect the same product that was pictured since this is an urban renewal piece. i got the green flannel in a small. the material is worn which doesn't bother me but might bother others. the size is good, its a loose fit (i'm 5'5" 110) which i expected. i would have liked it to be a little less shabby. still, i'm happy with it."
