WHY?
(April 25, 2013)
"When I first go these jeans they were huge, They almost wore like 501's. After washing them once they fit like a charm just like all other 511's but then after a second wash they shrunk again. The length was a 30 and the leg tapered even more. They are unwearable now. I paid $40 to wear a pair of jeans for a month."
"Dear readers, before you purchase this product, or any dry denim for that matter you should know three things:
1. This is unwashed denim. The purpose of this is so that over time, the jeans will distress to whatever lifestyle you choose to take up. So, after a year of wearing these jeans, they will be perfectly aged and can be something you can call your own.
2. These do fit a bit tighter than the typical 511s. The reason being is because, in order to get your jeans to fade the way you want, you will not want to wash them for a minimum of 6 months. Therefore, the denim is going to stretch to your actual waist size over time. Order your typical 511 size and in 2 days, you'll be super comfy.
3. Since this denim is unwashed, the dye may bleed onto light colored things, depending on how much you are moving around and how moist (from sweat or from rain) your jeans are. TRY YOUR BEST TO AVOID GETTING THESE JEANS WET! Trust me, you won't want to stain everything, or impede your aging process.
"Get these if you want a nice pair of dark denims. The color is as dark as it looks in the picture and I'd say they fit like any other pair of 511s, so I would recommend getting your legit size. These jeans are probably my favorite purchase in the last two months."

great jeans
(May 3, 2011)
"these jeans come a little bigger than the average 511. but the thing is they come unwashed because its like eco friendly or something. when you wash it, it strinks. just be careful to not dry for long or else they will turn into levis 510s."

Great pair of jeans
(April 12, 2011)
"I've been trying to find a good pair of black/grey jeans, and this pair of jeans is PERFECT! Other black jeans look oddly baggy on me, but this looks nice and slim."

Small but Great
(January 26, 2011)
"These pants look fantastic but the waist is definitely smaller than advertised. I wear a 30 and most of the time my pants run a smidgen larger (Only one pair of pants that I own fits perfectly). These pants on the other hand are definitely at least a size or two smaller in the waist (They still fit me but it's definitely the snuggest pair I own). The legs are a little tight but that is how Levi 511's are made. If these were 510's then these would be unwearable at your intended size."

"The jean is fine, just remember to buy at least a size up (I usually go 2 sizes up). Also depends on where it sits too."

"These jeans look awesome on. They look selvage (even have orange stitching when cuffed), but feel incredibly comfortable from the first wear. I'm not sure why people are rating them down just because they run small. Try them on before buying or go one size up.
These are an instant favorite!"

Does not fit true to size
(August 25, 2010)
"Purchased a 31 actual waist is a 28. Needless to say they were tight on my ample hips, but are shaping nicely. Denim is meh, maybe a little more lightweight than you'd expect from a jean advertising itself as "rigid indigo". HEy they were 50 bones"
