Handsome and well built.
(December 6, 2010)
"I'm 5-11 and about 140 lbs with long arms Got this jacket in size medium and while it's not tailored to a slim fit it's tapered reasonably well and still leaves plenty of room. Dark Navy color is great. Different from most of the Pea coats you'll see the other guys wearing, a bit more detail in the stitching, bigger buttons. Very comfortable in lower thirty temps with the wind blowing.
About those pockets: They're definitely there. Take your time and carefully pick that stitch out."

Classy as always.
(November 30, 2010)
"Spiewak has definately become one of my favorite brands. This is my third coat from them and it definately exceeded my expectations. It is high quality, very warm, and stylish to the degree one would look for from such a classic company. I especially appreciate the attention to detail thats been put into the design, such as the cuffs and inner buttons. Something to note though is that (as with my previous purchases from Spiewak) their garments tend to run a little small. I almost always wear a men's medium but had to go with a large this time around. Be advised, it might not be a bad idea to head to an Urban Outfitters retail spot if possible to try one on first."

Very nice quality. Not true to size.

"This coat is extremely nice in quality. Very warm. But it did not fit like a true large whatsoever. I have to return it."

the best pea coat
(November 9, 2010)
"Girls, if you want a stylish, fitted, sharp little pea coat, get this in a men's small. I'm 5'8" and the small fits me perfect. beautiful construction and the cut is so slim. dreamy. i will wear this for at least 10 years."

Fabulous Coat
(October 13, 2010)
"Incredibly handsome and warm classic coat. YES, remove the pocket stitching/basting. It's common for pockets and vents to be stitched closed to ensure the garment lays correctly during shipping, but they are intended to be removed."

Great Coat, but...
(October 7, 2010)
"Like I said, great coat, but there are no pockets. In the picture he has his hands in the pockets, however, on the jacket, the pockets are sewn shut! And, there are, in fact, pockets behind the sewn enclosure so I am not sure if I'm supposed to undo the stitching? cut the stitching? bring it to a tailor (such a hassle thought)? or what... I don't maybe I will attempt such surgical endeavors, who knows... Otherwise, great coat—slim cut, made with integrity, and just sharp over-all. Any recommendations on the pockets?"
