Good fit but cheap quality for cheap price

"Purchased these along with the mustard/marigold colour, both in higwaist and found them both to be decent fitting. They have stretch so get 1 size smaller. On the red pair however the zipper driver was defective and I had to take them to a tailor for a replacement driver (about $8). Unfortunately I didn't discover the defect until I got to work to show them off and realized the zipper was wide open because the teeth wouldn't hold together. What a shame."

"I was really excited to get these in the mail, but unfortunately when I tried them on they were too long. (I'm pretty short, 5'3") However, they were very cute and I would get them if they were made in a shorter length!"

VERY stretchy!

"Love everything about these - the length (I'm 5'11), the colour (bright!), the high waist. The only thing is that they are very thin and closer to leggings than jeans. They stretch out a bit after a day of wear too. They still look great but be aware of this before you buy them."

"I loved the fit and cut! These were my favorite BDG jeans in that respect. After careful consideration, I just decided that I couldn't pull off the color. For someone a little bolder, these are wonderful."

Not the best red skinnies...

"I had been looking for a pair of red jeans forever, but didn't want to pay a lot of money because I wasn't sure how much I'd wear them. I got these because of the great price, even though I've had problems with BDG jeans in the past. All the pairs I've had have gotten these weird puckered stretch marks around the crotch after wearing them many times, and I have had to throw them out. This pair came in the mail with some slight puckering in the crotch already--not a good sign. The denim is stretchy and thin, and it feels as cheap as the jeans cost. The color was a bit more faded than I thought it would be. I did love the high rise, but I had a feeling the waist may stretch after a couple hours of wearing, causing the jeans to slide down. I also would have had to do some serious hemming on them, since I wear a 29" inseam and these are 34". I decided it wasn't worth it to keep them and ended up shelling out the cash for a more expensive pair instead."

Great for tall girls!

"So happy to have found a red jean w 34" inseam. I'm 6' tall, so finding a jean just long enough is hard, but these are flattering too. The high waist is comfy and fits true to size with some stretch for me. I've worn these a few days now and the stretch out factor isn't bad at all, they have not bagged out as much as other BDG have on me. I love the shade of red, but I do wish the jeans were more saturated. Also the thigh and upper leg are skinny, but below the knee not so much - I don't mind it, but would have liked them to be more fitted in the lower leg too."

"Im so excited that this jean comes in a 34' inseam. shorter girls can always hem their jeans but when youre tall its really hard to find a jean that is long enough and fits right and these are amazing. Im 5'9 and these are perfect for me!"

"I bought them yesterday in SALE just for 9.99 CAN! The colour is lovely and very original, the size was last in the shop - 30, I usually wear 29 so it is kinda bigger but more comfortable!

"Reading the reviews I was a little skeptical to order them in my size, but I took my measurements and ordered a 27 anyways. They were pretty much spot-on! The waist is a tad loose (but high-waisted pants typically are - I own much worse!) but the length is perfect (5'11" here) and so is the fit. Not as stretchy as other reviews let on, but I put them on and couldn't be happier!"

"Seriously, who has legs this long? I'm only 5'3", so I'm used to having to hem pants, but these were ridiculously long- I would have to trim at least 8 inches to make these semi-normal. Also, I know these pants are high rise, but they were loose in the waist (while fitting everywhere else very nicely) so they bagged at the crotch. Returning!"

"I just got these in the mail today and I love them. I am in love with the color and they are so comfortable. They are super stretchy. I almost think that I should have ordered a size down as I think they will stretch out quite a bit.

these look disastrous on ME

"i am a loyal fan of bdg jeans but these are SO not for me. the fabric is soft and nice, but the length is way too long. i'm 5.1 / 103 lbs so i always have to have pants hemmed, so that's not the main issue. i got a size 25, which fits perfectly in the waist, but that's about it. the color is completely off. it's NOT as saturated as seen in the pix AT ALL. it's more of a pinkish red. i could deal with all that, if they still look good on me, but they don't. they make my thighs look big and these are definitely not cigarette. they're more like regular skinny. i'm in the process of trying to sell them to a friend. what a bummer. they look so gorgeous in the pix. =("

"I simple loved my red pants. Im currently leaving overseas Brasil. I dont find these type of jeans here when I find the price is silly, very expensive and dont fit me well.
So I always rely on UO.

waist too big, legs too tight

"I normally wear a size 8 in super-stretchy bottoms (5'9", 143 lbs, average/slim body type). often have trouble with rise being too short in back, and that was true for these jeans also - waist stands out from my body in the back but pants pull WAY down when I bend over. This was with a size 30, legs so tight they looked bad but waist gapping in back. have re-ordered 31 and 32, will have the waist tailored on whichever pair fit better. RE the comments on fabric - the "white" that shows through the dyed threads is the stretch portion of the weave, which does not take dye well. Washing bright colors, particularly red, is an art. Turning inside out, using very gentle cycle or hand washing, and cold water are all key - or just dry clean! its so hard to find jeans this long in red that taking extra care is worth it."

"They were not as "cigarette" as I thought they would be, the calf part was very loose, and wish the jean was all red instead of the white fill in it. Disappointed, and I was so excited to find these. Also I am usually a 6 and the 28" was a bit too big."

"I agree with the other reviews saying that the red isn't saturated, though I have not washed them yet so I cannot tell about how they hold up after that. My main problem with these pants are the length. I am 5'2 and 103 pounds and the inseam of the pants is very VERY long; the hem of these pants go over my feet. It is borderline ridiculous."

"these jeans are by far the most comfortable pair of jeans i've ever tried on. the material is super stretchy and really soft. and the red is brilliant, just as i hoped. they are super long but nothing some hemming can't fix. i haven't washed them yet but i'm hoping if done correctly, the color won't become splotchy. overall a great buy!"

"Well.... the first time I wore these I absolutely loved them. I love red jeans! Thing is, I washed them once and had a similar experience to some of the other reviewers - color totally faded and they're kind of a pinkish hue now after one wash - totally losing that bright beautiful red color they were when they were brand new. I still like them tho... I just wish the quality of the dye was a bit better."
