"I adore the silhouette of this dress. It's simple, yet classy, and the ruffled pleats along the neckline adds a level of elegance. Honestly, it's such an amazingly flattering dress, because the elastic waistband will give you an hourglass shape, regardless of your body type.
I am 4'11" 86 lbs, and I purchased the dark grey dress in a size XS. It fits wonderfully and stops about mid-thigh. The bodice is a bit baggy, but it's nothing that a belt can't remedy. The skirt of the dress is tulip-shaped, so leg movement is somewhat restricted. Other than that, the fabric is soft and comfortable, and it drapes nicely over the body. And this dress has pockets, which is a major plus!
Since there is bound to be some bra exposure, I suggest wearing this dress with a cute, lace bralette. This dress is so easy to dress up or down. You can throw on a cardigan and a pair of Converse, sandals, or ankle boots for a casual look, or wear it with a statement necklace, blazer, sheer tights, and heels for a dressier look. I can come up with so many ways to wear this dress, and it will be perfect for all kinds of occasions. The options are endless!
One thing to take into consideration is that the material is 100% polyester and dry clean only. I didn't realize this until after I received it. But if you don't want to dry clean it, I suppose you could hand wash it and hang it out to dry."

"Although the material is pretty cheap the dress has a nice silhouette. I am 5' 110lbs with a smaller chest and bigger thighs and I didn't have many issues with mobility. The material was a little too sheer to wear without a slip during the day but at night it was fine."

"If you have hips/a butt/bigger thighs, do NOT by this. I couldn't get it over my butt... the top part of the dress was loose, but the bottom was so tight, impossible to wear with curvy features!"

"I got the royal blue dress in a large, and it is so cute. I usually get a medium at UO, but I liked the color so much online that I got the large. It is a really pretty color, and definitely work appropriate. It is a little big by the sleeves, but if you put a belt around the waist it is perfect. So happy!"

"I really don't know if I should keep this dress. I know there are very similar dresses out there for a much cheaper price. First off, the dress kinda poofs above the waist, like the review below said, it might look better on a bigger girl? The shape is just really awkward. Bought this a couple months ago and its still wrinkly. For 40$ i would expect something much better. too bad i can't find the reciept or anything, cause i might want to return this."

"I purchase this dress in "dark grey". The color appears how it does in the model's pictures, which is a light lavender. The color is beautiful. The collar of the dress is very unique and very different from anything I own. The only con about this dress is that the chest part is that it's very low and doesn't stay in place because of the material. (Maybe it will be better for girls with bigger chest.) The material is very smooth and feels very nice. The armpit area is also quite big and low (as you can see in the model's pictures). Therefore, I like to wear a tube top under my dress. I love the feature of two pockets on the side. I'm 5'3, 108 lb, 32A, 25 in jeans. I purchased the dress in small. The tight waist is great for small girls. The waist is very tight, but not too tight to the point where it is uncomfortable. The dress falls 2-3 inches above my knees."

i love this dress

"i originally bought this dress in a large when i meant to pick up a medium. the large was much too large. when i finally found a medium (they went on sale by the time i returned the first one and so they immediately disappeared) i bought it and was so excited- but the medium is just a little bit small. if only they had something halfway between a large and a medium!!"

"it's admittedly a little too revealing for the work place but super cute and flattering. i have a bit of a butt and the pouf on the hips accentuates that a little too much, BUT i can wear a cardigan to hide that. if you are super skinny, it should look great."

"This dress was cute and fit well in the waist and hips, but was just too long in the torso (I would've needed to have the shoulders taken in at least an inch, if not more, to avoid exposing myself). Wish I didn't have to send it back, but it's just not worth the tailoring on a $40 dress. I suppose it could be worn with a tank top, but I felt it ruined the casual look of the dress. For reference, I am 5' and 105 lbs and ordered an XS."

"Loved the design of the dress and the colour. The front ruffle and the pockets are a great combination. Love.
I got the Dark Grey colour which was like a more Lavender colour. Didn't matter as the Lavender was a lovely colour.
I bought the size small which was a good fit. I'm 160cm (5'2"?) and 52kg (115lb?). Like other reviews have mentioned the middle is elastic which is a tad tight, but not uncomfortably so. The top is a little baggy and loose so like another reviewer i wear a singlet underneath. I'm an A cup so that might also have something to do with it. The dress is a good length, falling at my thigh (decent enough to wear to work).
The material is a little hard to iron (if you look at the dark grey picture the material is actually a little wrinkly) The hem was unevenly sown but not noticable unless you know about it or you're detail focused like me.
The above are minor details to me, i love the dress and will definitely wear it alot!"

"basically the color (the blue one) jumped out at me and i had to try it on. IT WASA PERFECT. the shape was amazing a little small on top (but im bigger chested than most). but i wear it all the time....perfect for weddings, casual parties, and soooooooo much more."

"I ordered this dress in a blue, med. The hue is a gorgeous blue. The material is a bit thin. Also, there are pockets which make the dress pop more at the hips. I would recommend wearing a cardigan over this piece. The elastic hits me right at the top of my hips, and with the pockets, it makes my hips look double-wide. I am 5'7" 140 lbs. Long torso and shorter legs."

"I got the blue dress in a small. I'm about 5'4" and 107 lb. The bottom half of the dress fits quite well but I found the top part a little baggy and low so I have to wear a bandeau underneath.
The dress is a little sheer at the bottom but not indecently so. It's pretty comfortable to wear, which may be due to the elastic waist. I'm a big fan of the pockets."

"I bought this dress at the Black Friday sale in Ravenscourt. I absolutely love the color, very vibrant and pretty. I'm 5'3 and 128 lbs. and got a size M. The top part is a tad oversized on me but it still looks cute. I would say it runs true to size. So worth the sale price!"

"I actually bought this dress for 15 dollars at the Urban Outfitters store. I tried it on thinking it would look horrible but it actually was really flattering- This dress would look good on any size. You can dress it down or up- I wore it on new years with sparkly tights and pumps, wicked cute!!!"

"I bought this dress in a size small and in the grey colour.
I am usually a small in dresses but I found this to be a good fit. The middle part is elastic so it squeezes me a little bit! But I like how it sits on me and the shape it gives.
The colour also looks more purple than grey, but I still like to colour so I kept it.
Overall it is a cute dress and I still will wear it out and kept it because it was a bargain on sale."

"I got this on black friday and i was so pleased because i had wanted this for a long time! i got it in the "dark grey" which is a lie it is lavender.
