Not great quality

(June 11, 2013)
"I just received these boots and they sent me a size 7 - when I actually ordered a size 8. (And these boots look tiny to me - there is no way I can get them on anyway.) The heels are really scuffed like they've been worn and there was no lining in the sole of the boot! I will def be sending them back - and not replacing them with the size 8. Very disappointed."

they arrived USED

(May 28, 2013)
"I bought 2 pair of these boots, one red and the other brown. both of them came in very bad shape ... the shoe sole looks as if it was already used. I live in Chile and returning this product is a complication for me. I spend a lot of money and I am totally desaponted."

Gotta Love a Surprise!

(November 15, 2012)
"This is the second time I've ordered these. The first time I received the taller ones in the picture, which I already owned, so I returned them. Took another shot and the second time I received the shorter boots which I am totally happy with. Just the right amount of distressing to look newer but, not brand new. Because I've ordered boots before as well as having purchased a pair in the store, I knew they ran big. I usually wear an 8 so, I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. Go ahead, take a shot, with free shipping what have you got to lose??"

WASTE OF TIME PURCHASE!!!

(November 4, 2012)
"I ordered a size six. I wear a size six in boots. The boot print inside said it was a size six. But I measured the insole and it was a size 8. Even with three pair of thick socks and shoe inserts, they cut into your ankle bones! Horrible horrible. Buy a new pair and scuff them up, it is cheaper. You never get the pointed two ones either, which is what I was hoping for."

cowgirl boots

(October 24, 2012)
"love these so far. Very comfortable and plenty of room to slide in and out of them easily. The brown color is amazing. The soles are pretty much new, they do not look warn down. The boot leather itself is broken in very well so they are not stiff. I am usually an 8.5. I ordered the 8 and they are actually a little big, so I like them with thick socks."

waste of money

(August 5, 2012)
"I received the boots and they were disgusting. there were stains all over them, the soles were worn down, the heel was all worn down almost as if someone had worn these before. The "vintage" look wasnt what i expected, it looked like someone spilled dye on the toes and rubbed it around quick. definitely not a good buy."

Soooo hit or miss

(December 4, 2011)
"I ordered two pairs... one in black, one in brown, hoping that at least one of them would work out! I normally wear a 7/8 in close toed shoes, so I ordered 7s based on the reviews. The black pair was really ugly, too small, very very very scuffed, and was sent back the day after I got them! The brown ones are absolutely what I wanted, are hard to get on but really comfortable once they are, and in good vintage quality :). I would definitely recommend these boots for $20... but order a few pairs so there is room for error!"

Just like the other reviews....

(December 3, 2011)
"I know that urban renewal stuff sometimes can be a mixed bag, and of corse I always read what everyone is saying about an item before purchasing.
I ordered the black in a size 8 (I wear a 7.5 normally) and they fit great, even with socks. The are the exact replica of the small black boots in the picture. My only complaint is that the left boot is missing the "boot pull" and there is a small tear. Really not that big of a deal because I got them for $14 bucks and they are already broken in. I would say all in all, a great buy.

IN LOVE (mostly)

(September 30, 2011)
"I LOVE the style of these! I got two pairs - one in brown (size 7) and one in black (size 8). The brown ones fit length wise okay, but are a bit too narrow. Having bunions from dance don't exactly help either :( They came a few inches below the knee. The black ones were the perfect width and length, but fit a little bit weirdly... I'd have to wear thicker socks to prevent them from slipping off. Overall, I think they're an amazing price for amazing pairs of boots! :)"

worth a shot!

(September 15, 2011)
"I was knew I was taking a chance by ordering these, but I'm happy I did. Just SIZE DOWN. I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered the 7, which fits like an 8. I dont mind the extra space because its nice with thick socks. I received the shorter cowboy style ones. The leather is shiny and a bit scuffed, which I like. Overall very comfortable as well. Nice vintage cowboy boots can be hard to find which is why the gamble of ordering is worth it when the majority of the reviews are positive ones."

Nice but didnt fit.

(September 14, 2011)
"These boots are awesome but finding the right size is tough. I wear a 7.5 and sometimes 8 in boots. I ordered a 7 in these since most reviewers recommended ordering a size down. The boots are about a whole size too big! So Im returning them for the 6, hopefully those fit better. Overall, the boots are a definite must-have vintage cowboy boot!"

Just what I wanted!

(September 11, 2011)
"So after reading a few reviews I decided to buy these boots. I ordered them in black and was so excited with what I got. I got boots that come to around mid-calf with a cute detail on the side. They fit perfectly as well. I ordered a seven but when I looked on the bottom of the boot to check the size it was a 7 1/2. So you might want to round up a little on your shoe size."

Third time's a charm...

(September 6, 2011)
"I tried my luck at these 3 times, but unfortunately had to return all of them... I got the high pair on my first try. This was the boot of my choice. Since I'm a 6,5 I ordered the size 7. Unfortunately, the high boot is rather large. I tried putting on the boots with extra thick socks, but they still felt a little too large for my feet.
So I decided to try my luck again and order them in a size 6. I kept the pair of 7s (you have 30 days to return them) so that I could decide later. This time I got a shorter pair. These were so small that I couldn't even get my left foot all the way in. These definitely had to go back.
After a long debate with myself I decided to try ordering a pair one more time, again in a size 6, hoping to get another high pair. The boots came quickly (still had time before I had to return the 7s), but they were another low pair. These were different, though and I did get into these boots. They were nice, but not what I'd had in mind.
I still had a hard time deciding to take the 7s back and/or keeping the 6s (which were not what I'd had in mind, but still pretty cool).
In the end I took all three pairs back to the store, mainly because in all honesty the 6s were not what I'd set out for and the 7s were just too big. I accidentally found a nice pair of cowboy boots in SoHo over the weekend and therefore decided I should take them all back. It did cost me the shipping fee ($10) three times, though. Normally that's not worth it to me, but I wanted to take this chance. Better luck next time.

EXPLANATION FOR ALL THE CONFUSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(August 15, 2011)
"Okay guys. Most of you don't seem to understand the concept of these boots. They are VINTAGE COWBOY BOOTS. This means, they are boots that were previously owned and worn (meaning USED). This also means that everyone would receive a DIFFERENT PAIR. So, to those complaining about sizing, happens because they are old shoes and sizing was different in the past. To those complaining about different colour and embroidery than that of in the picture, the picture is an EXAMPLE of a boot, NOOOOT THE ONE YOU ARE RECEIVING. And do those complaining about the shoes being worn out, not just vintage but literally worn out, thats because they are!!!!!"

Awesomeness

(July 26, 2011)
"I was hoping for the taller boots but got the short ones instead. That turned out perfect- the boots wont make my legs look shorter that they already are. I can wear these year round!! Go well with any outfit and any style. Yea-ya!"

So disapointed.

(July 17, 2011)
"I ordered these online so I knew I probably wan't going to get what I wanted but I thought it would be worth the risk. I was so un happy with the boots I recieved. They were shorter then the short ones in the picture and had no embelishments at all. Also these ones had a very noticable stain on the top. The boots were still nice, they just wern't really for me so I returned."

Completely different than what i expected...

(May 19, 2011)
"I got the boots in an 8 1/2 because that was the largest size available. I figured they wouldnt fit but wanted to give them a try. Also I had read other reviews saying they didnt get them in the same dark brown color that is shown in the picture and instead received a different tannish brown. I actually wanted the tannish brown anyways so was looking forward to it, Instead I received them in a two tone color of dark and tan brown and they looked like mens boots. The bottoms of the shoes showed that they had clearly been worn before because of all the marks indicated walking around. I don't recommend unless you feel like taking a chance and waiting 2 weeks just to return them."

great ooking .love the shape of the toe.

(May 17, 2011)
"It's la cross between a cowboy and a motorcycly boot,
The heel on my pair was definately not the slanted inward cowboy heel shape.
They run small, especially if you have a high arched foot.
Too troublesome getting them on,so I had to return.

Disappionted

(April 25, 2011)
"I read the reviews before I purchased these boots, but I was hoping I might be one of the lucky ones and get a pair that I loved. Sadly, I'm not. They're hideous and huge. I ordered a six and they appear to be about a nine. They look like work boots a construction worker would wear. I'm definitely returning them."
