beautiful but too short!!

(March 4, 2010)
"I am so disappointed in this dress because it's gorgeous and made of wonderful silky material, but it's too short! I am 5'8 and long waisted and I cant wear it as a dress because when I raise my arms at all it goes up over my butt. It would make a good tunic with leggings or pants, but it's not a dress unless you're shortish."

Great buy!

(March 1, 2010)
"I am 5'5", 120lbs and bought this shirt dress in an XS based on peoples' reviews. The fit is great, I definitely wouldn't want it in a bigger size. I got it in the navy color and like to wear it with a belt, leggings and boots. It works well for lots of different occasions. Awesome buy!!"

"i cannot express how much i love this dress. its probably one of my best purchases from urban. i got it in the purple color and it's such a striking color. i got lots of compliments.
the silky fabric is so luxe, but wasnt static-y at all when i wore it over leggings. i especially love the 3/4 length sleves and the hem of the dress which is shorter on the sides than in the front and back; gives it a menswear feel.

loved this

"i saw this dress on a mannequin and it was adorable, so i tried it on in a small. however, the dress runs very large and was pretty baggy, so i ended up getting an xsmall. fabric is great, but you almost need to wear this with a belt if you want yoru shape defined hahaaha. very cute and i recommend it. looks great with any sandal heels or with over the knee boots."

"this dress fits so good and is really flattering. i've worn it with a belt a few times, but it is also cute without. i ordered it in a size small. i'm 5'7 118. i normally buy a medium at uo, and i think that would have worked too. it is a little short but not ridiculous. overall a good purchase."

Despite all the glowing reviews...

(January 19, 2010)
"I thought this dress made me look very dowdy. I ordered the blue in a L, and the fabric clung to me. I have other Reformed dresses and they fit beautifully. The pockets at the chest looked awkward on me (maybe because I have a larger chest). Overall, seems to work for a garden party/church type thing. Great work dress I suppose. I will say the fabric was absolutely beautiful - feels great. The style of this dress is nice, but for me I wish it had a more oversized look so it could be more versatile. Because of this, and the price (and the fact that UO has tons of fantastic dresses) I am sadly returning this one."

Love it

(September 11, 2009)
"This top/dress is really pretty. The fabric is gorgeous, the picture online doesn't do it justice. I am usually a medium and it fit me perfectly. However, I wear it with a belt at the waist. Its very versatile, you can wear it with tights, leggings, jeans, or just a great pair of over-the-knee boots. Its worth it to me because I know I'll wear it a million times. Very sexy!!"

Ran really big!

(September 5, 2009)
"I tried this on in a medium, in the store in my usual size. It was HUGE! And it's really thin and well, you know, definitely silk. I'm embarrassed to admit I had some love handles, but I do, and if you don't wear the right underwear or maybe even sheer boy-shorts under this,it will show all your curves, good or bad. I tried it on in a small and ended up not buying it, but I'm still considering it. It's beautiful, color is as pictures. Great fabric, well made. I'm 5'1 and it reached my knees on the medium, about two inches above the knee in a small. Hope this helps! Oh, and I'm 130 lbs."
