Check the lamp you want to use this for!

"I like this shade but am a little annoyed that the part that holds it up over a lamp (circular piece inside) is very big, and doesn't fit on the lamp base I wanted to use it for or any of my other lamps. I didn't think about this, although wouldn't have been able to tell by the picture or description anyway.
Annoying because unless I find a lamp to put it on, I'd have to buy the stupid bulb cord from UO, which is not that attractive.
If you want to use it for the cord, or your base has a wide area around the bulb, you'll be set though. The lip on your base would have to be more than 2 inches across."
