"I was incredibly pumped for these boots--have been looking for gray ankle boots for a couple years now--and was totally let down by the color. They aren't pure gray-they are a greenish color that, believe it or not, doesn't really go with most colors the way gray does. Boo. I returned them and am still questing..."

Amazing...but...

"I purchased these boots the second I saw them on sale. They look great with everything...from a sweater and jeans to a little black dress..and are perfectly understated. I knew when I bought them that they would be a great addition to my closet, and they would quickly become my go-to boot. However, after a couple wears, I was walking down the stairs and the heel caught on the step and COMPLETELY ripped off. I was pretty surprised considering the seemingly good quality of these boots. A serious tragedy :( I will definitely be taking these to be repaired but was extremely disappointed."

Best Boots EVER!

"Ok I seriously have tonssss of boots but I just had to get these. I bought the previous Colonial Madness for LD Tuttle cutout booties but didn't keep them since something was off. These are PERFECT and go with everything. The leather is divine and the heel height is perfect for everyday walking. Wish there was padding inside or a platform but I may just get them soled at a cobbler. The zipper on the right boot doesn't zip up that much but hopefully it will get easier with use. I had to get a half size up and they are already really snug. So I think you should size up half a size for sure or even a whole size if you plan to wear thick socks. They look so good under pants and with dresses with tights. These are my new favorite boots everrr"

"i have wanted a pair of real ld tuttle boots for ages...but i could not afford them. so when i saw these i was thrilled! and they were on sale! i ordered them and was so excited i put them on right away, but they were too small for me (10M). i had to return:("

"These boots are great quality and totally worth the price. I ordered my size 8.5 in gray and they fit well. The leather is great and overall the quality of the shoe is excellent. I will have to get a rubber sole added to the base of the boot (it's leather right now) so it doesn't get worn out too quickly. They look good with lights and with skinny jeans."

"I fell in love with these boots the second I saw them on the website. I decided to get them in grey since I already have so many black shoes and I'm glad I did! I feel like the detail stands out so well and I've already gotten so many compliments on them too!
I'm not exactly the best when it comes to walking heels, but these shoes are crazy comfortable and easy to wear. The chunky heel is perfect for anyone not so great with heels! I'd recommend these to anyone!"

"I was actually quite smitten with these boots when first seeing them online and decided to order them. But you know how it goes, once you order stuff you start having doubts, especially seeing review after review, etc etc. They finally came a few days later and I tried them on and... they fit like a dream! I'm usually a 7.5-8 with somewhat wide feet and they actually fit wonderfully! (I got a 7.5) They look absolutely great and I couldn't be happier. I actually decided to wear them out the first night when I received them and they endured dancing and drinking the entire night and my feet were still comfy. Wonderful! Love these boots."

AMAZING boots

"I love these boots. I normally wear a 9 or 9.5, and I ordered a 9 since that was what was available online. I'd say go half a size up when you order them because the 9's are tiny! I have a 10 on hold to pick up at my store and I can't wait!
One thing to note: the heel is definitely not that tall. I'm guessing that the 4 was a typo. They're more like 3.5 inches, but they still look really stunning, not like an awkward 2 inch heel or anything. Basically, if you're looking for a tall boot, don't count these out."

"When I opened the box, I thought the boot was adorable but I was just a bit confused. I was expecting an almost 5" heel, but the heel seemed quite smaller. So I brought out the ruler and the heel is more like 3.5". I'm a size 7 and I purchased a 7 and it fits great. It fits perfectly even with thin socks on. I don't usually wear heels but walking around in these boots, it isn't difficult/uncomfortable at all."

"I sat around daydreaming about these boots for about a week and finally went for it. I was so excited when they arrived in the mail, and I had every reason to be. All the reviews about COMFORT are exactly CORRECT. I stop and ask myself "are these really 4.75" heels"..? I can wear these all day at work, walking up and down stairs, running around the building, and STILL feel alright on my feet. Look great with leggings, jeans, tights, anything, everything. Size Wise: I normally order my boots a half size larger than my normal shoe size which is 7.5. I ordered these in an 8 and they fit perfectly!!! <3 <3 <3"

"I just bought these on the sale price, and while I wouldn't have coughed up $200-plus dollars on these, I wouldn't cough up $200-plus for any other pair of shoes, no matter how much I wanted them. I was actually skeptical of them at first, but when I tried them on, they were way cuter on my feet than they had looked in the box. It's definitely the hot item right now with the studs, the cross-over leather straps and its general badass biker-chick quality. In terms of comfort, the INSIDE of the boot is also lined with soft leather, and the heel is thick enough to give plenty of support for so surprising a height."

Great, comfy boots -- worth the $$!!
"These boots are GORGEOUS! And, very solid-looking and solid-feeling...because of the combination chunky heel in the back, and platform and padded footbed in the front, they are super comfortable. They are extremely easy to walk in too.
They'll look equally good with tights/dresses and jeans. The heel is chunky but the shoe is, all in all, very sexy (I love chunky heels), and very in keeping with the motorcycle-chic trend going on right now. Honestly, I've been looking for boots like this for a while, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase -- especially at the reduced price!"
