Pros: the little peek of the back is hot!
Cons: itchy

"Although this dress is super cute, it is SUPER itchy around the neck/upper back area. I was constantly scratching the area around my collarbone. Since the dress is a little tight towards the hips/butt area, I often have to hike it up when I sit down. It looks fabulous on though!"

"why hasn't anyone mentioned this item is itchy? don't get me wrong, it looks great, at least i think it does. The buttons on the back can be a bit tight if you have a butt though and the material is not the best but I'm okay with that...the main problem i find is that it is itchy! i'm 5.1, and 105 lb with a relatively large butt, if that helps anyone"

Cons: sometimes when u sit a button might become undone.

"just order a size up!!! that's what i did. i'm 5'2, 130lbs, c cup, and i usually am a small but for this dress i ordered a medium based on the other reviews. and it fits like the picture of the model but i wear it with a skinny belt on my high waist since i ordered the medium the chest part is a little loose but atleast my butt fits."

"this is a great dress, if you dont have hips or a butt. Not saying that not having either of those is bad, but if you have them this won't work. I tried it on and the buttons near the butt wont stay shut. :( Im sad cause the dress is actually pretty cool...on the hanger."

Nice Dress (if you have a small rear end) San Francisco, CA
"This is a sexy dress. The material is not my favorite (its not silky, more like polyester/cotton blend). However, beware if you are bottom heavy because this dress has no spandex and very little room to move- the back is held up by buttons.
Overall, nice dress for the money but beware of the sizing issues. I wouldn't recommend ordering a size up either because if you get the right fit, this dress is sexy!!

super cute dress! Mililani, HI
"I am 5'3", a 34 b, and a size 6 (27" waist size). i bought this dress in a size medium. this dress is really cute. love the buttons in the back - it's a really cute detail - the only thing is you have to be careful how you walk. you need to take small steps. if you take too big steps you might pop open one of the buttons and that wouldn't be good thing. i haven't tried to see what happens yet if i took too big of a step, but that's what i would assume would happen. it fits perfectly everywhere. just so you know, this is not a loose fitting dress. it's not super tight either, but i wouldn't wear it to a buffet or anything unless your tummy doesn't stretch an inch no matter how much you eat. the only downside about this dress is that it's kind of itchy. the material of the dress is itchy, but that's the only bad thing i found with the dress."

Curvy woman-only
"Despite what other reviewers have been saying, this dress was anything but small in the butt/hips. I'm fairly boy shaped, 5'7" 115lbs, but I do have a but, and I was still swimming in the small. I returned it for the xsmall but I'm afraid it might STILL be too big. Usually I fit a small or xsmall in UO. This is such a cute dress, but I think it may be for the curvy woman, which unfortunately is not me."

love the dress, hate the fit
"Loved this dress, waited and waited and waited and finally bought it. Still love the dress, having issues with the buttons in the back though - probably going to have to sew the back closed and leave the buttons for show..."

Insane Back Buttons, but...
"I can't argue with the complaints about the buttons popping open in the back -- definitely happened to me the first time I wore this dress out! Super awkward. But I love this dress enough (and I got it on sale...) that I'm going to just sew the back together (in other words, making the buttons decorative, not functional). I'll leave the top couple of buttons open so that it's still easy to put the dress on, but no wardrobe malfunctions will be happening again! I wear it with a black bandeau mini top that covers up my bra in the back and a belt to pull the loose fabric together. It also looks really cute with a blazer, tights and big boots. Overall, I recommend it (especially at $39!), but it needs some alterations before it should be worn out."

subtle flair makes dress stunning
"I tried this dress on in the store, didn't buy it, and spent the next month and a half thinking about it. I finally bought it online and was so eager to have it arrive. I am 5'10, size 6-8 in pants and bought the dress in a large. It was a bit big in the body, but fit well over my hips. I am small chested so I wore the dress braless so that no tacky bra strap shone through the back slit. I also belted it so it fit a bit snugger in the body. I would say that unlike a lot of dresses of this style, this dress ran a bit small. I normally wear mediums at UO. I tried the medium on in the store and it fit, but the large definitely was the better choice. Great dress for going out or going to class. Buy it!"

disappointed
"i love this dress, but can't bring myself to purchase it. i've tried it on several times and the fit is awful. the small is way too loose; the extra small is a little more flattering however, the fabric has no give so 2-3 of the buttons in the back pull just enough to expose a bit too much. i'm hoping i find the fluke extra small that runs a little big. sigh."

Not a fan at all!!! Las Vegas
"I tried this on in the store....

It is horrible.... Feels cheap, really cheap and doesnt fit right at all. Too loose everywhere but the butt/hip area... it showed my blue underwear through the bottoned area at the bottom of the dress.

Gorgeous, but fits weird. San Diego, CA
"Like the other reviewers said, the fitting is very odd. I don't know if they used a male or female mannequin when they designed it.

I usually wear a small, so once it arrived in the mail, the top section was huge, but couldn't even button the dress at the back. There is completely no stretch on the dress. The material is 60% rayon, and 40% nylon, not cotton and nylon.

I love it so much, I went into the store to exchange it for a medium, the top part of the dress is very loose, and the buttons just barely button up, only if I button it above my waist and then pull it down.

I haven't returned it because it is pretty, but there is no way I could wear it out unless I stand up the whole night, including getting there, and wearing a slip underneath, covering my waist down.

looks good but fits bad! ny
"This dress looked so nice in the catalog that I just had to order it! The fabric is not that great, feels cheap be ok as its not so expensive. The dress looks fine from the front although the pockets are not placed in the most flattering way…the WORST part are the buttons on the back! Like one person said if one button opens your back side will be fully exposed! Such a pity because it could have been an amazing dress! Too bad they decided to put buttons in the rear end definitely a return!"

not cool!
"I am 6'0 tall and bought this dress in my usual size, medium. When I tried it on, I had a hard time buttoning the bottom part of my dress. It fit tightly around my hips and thighs. As I began to walk around, I then realized that if one of the buttons happened to open, my "backside" would've been completely exposed. I think it's a very cute dress so I am going to exchange it for a size up. However, if you wear this dress too tightly, it is a disaster waiting to happen!! NOT COOL!!!"

Fits weird
"I ordered this dress in a size small about a week ago and got it in the mail today. I am 6'1" and weigh 138 pounds. When i put the dress on it fit tight around my hips and thighs and looked very elegant but in the middle of the dress where the pockets were it was really baggy and made me look larger. The back of the dress also was really baggy and loose. I am returning this dress right away."

Super Cute, Super Chic, Sexy Back!
"This dress is so cute! The back is very distinct and I love it with a white blazer and pumps! This dress is very chic inspired and classy. I would definitely recommend this to a fashion forward girl who likes her clothes to be as original as she is"
