So frustrating!

"I purchased the sawhorse legs to use as a base for a desk. I started putting these together today, and oh my god, what a pain in the rear! After 25 minutes I have one side complete, and I'm seriously tempted to give up on the other side and just send these back. To clarify, I'm a handy person. I've built furniture from pieces of lumber, I own power tools and table saws; assembling a few parts should not be this hard.
The holes for the screws/bolts aren't drilled properly. This results in the screws wobbling as you turn them and not actually going into the hole. I've tried to gain leverage from every angle possible to get the bolts in properly, and on this second piece it's just not working. Worse, the paint has already chipped as I'm putting this together. Not a big deal for me since I plan on repainting them, but I would be ticked if I weren't.
For the one piece I do have together, it seems fairly stable, even though one of the bolts refused to tighten properly. Even with that one glimmer of hope, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone."
