"I normally wear 7.5 in BDG shoes, but these I ordered an 8 and they are just right. A little lose without socks, but with socks they are perfect. These boots are great. They have enough room to wear jeans under them, but not too loose to wear them with a dress or skirt. I highly recommend these to anyone in need of a good versatile boot."

"I got these in the mail a few weeks and I have probably worn them three times only because the first time, I wore them all night and ended up with my ankles bleeding by the end of it- ouch. I personally don't care that much because I have a feeling I just need to get used to them and break them in a little. These are so CUTE though, I got these in tan and although they're a bit on the stiff side, they make my kind of muscley legs look a little leaner. Other than the fact these made my ankles bleed the first night I wore them, they are so worth it and so sophisticated. I actually want them in black now, too. I'm a size 8 for literally everything, and I ordered 8 1/2 like everyone said, fits like a charm"

"These boots are well worth the money. I got the grey and I love how the little gold buttons set these boots apart from all the other flat boots out in stores. They fit perfectly, and that's saying a lot because I have rather large calves. The only downside is that getting them on can be tricky but once they are on these boots look absolutely fabulous!"

"Great boots! I got these in Black and they look good with skinny jeans, skirts, and dresses. Pretty versatile when it comes to casual and dressing up. Size is good, it felt a little tight in the front at first but after a couple wears they fit fine! I'm an 8 normally and it's the size I got. Can't beat the sale price either!"

"decent materials .. but pretty expensive even on sale for something made in china. i got them in black for a size six and they fit cozily, they are snug on the heel but have a slightly awkward gap in the front on top on the foot, at the start of the shaft. it's like they're made for someone with big ankles and calves, not the most graceful/elegant looking boots. my friend has the size six in tan and they are already falling apart, but she wore them in the snow, and they seem pretty durable so far to me for the few hours i've worn them. i needed some standard boots for springtime, i guess these will have to do."

"I bought the peach colored one in a size down from my normal size because they seem to run small. It works well because even if I wear thin socks or tights it's not that tight on me. However, the bottom of the show itself is extremely smooth and doesn't grip well. I live in Seattle so I wore them a lot over the fall and still now mid winter. I ALWAYS SLIP or trip a little whenever I wear them because they just don't seem to go well against solid ground unless the ground's a little rocky."

"Most of my friends don't like this.. but I think it's gorgeous! I bought it in black although I now want the tan. I wish it were slimmer but it looks okay when I wear it with jeans. "I normally wear an 8.5, I purchased a 8.5 and not a 9 because it wasn't available in black. I figured i can try them for size. You definitely should order up. These are cute boots even though they are plain, but there are several ways you can wear them (unbutton,fold, etc..). These can go with anything. I have really skinny legs but the gap isn't too bad. Because I like these bootsd and they are versatile I will exchange for a grey pair size 9."

"I wouldn't have paid 88 for this, but I think 60 is reasonable for the quality. The toe is a little pointier than I excepted, but not ugly witch pointy, it's just that I prefer a slighty rounded toe. I got black and looking from the side and front, it still looks normal with the pointy toe. I like that it has a soft shape, but still holds up and doesn't slouch as I walk. It's slightly roomy inside, but just enough to be comfortable for walking. BTW I got size 8 b/c of the reviews, even i normally wear 7.5 99% of the time, and I'm glad I did. I think 7.5 would still have fit but would be a tad too snug for me to walk comfortably all day. I also like the height--it reaches a couple of inches below my knees which is perfect for skinny jeans or tights (I'm 5'4" 110lbs). I also got the BDG tall suede boot, but that goes RIGHT below my knees and isn't as flattering/slimming for me (will be returning). Overall it looks pretty much like in the pictures. Just get 1/2 size bigger! These will be great for next winter."

"i ordered these boots in grey and i was very excited to get them. i ordered a half size up as recommended. they fit well if i wanted to only wear them with tights. however, they were too narrow if i planned on wearing them with jeans. my legs are not huge or anything but i do not have chicken legs, which is apparently what i needed in order to tuck my jeans into them. they are super cute though and if i wanted to buy a pair of boots i only planned on wearing with skirts or dresses, i would have kept them."

Fantastic boots, except...
Pros: comfortable sexy versatile and durable Cons: minimal traction on heel
"I bought these boots in black back in November and I loved how they went with practically everything that I own! They fit like a glove and have just the right amount of give. The only problem that I found was that they have absolutely no traction on the heel! Since I have own them, I have slipped yet caught myself (with no puddles or slippery floors) six times, and have actually fallen twice. This last fall just happened four days ago I have severely injured my knee. So, that's something to look out for -- because I had loved how the first pair looked, I went ahead and ordered a second pair in tan... and they SEEM to have at least a little better traction. My friend has a pair also in black and she has the same problem as I do with the heel... maybe it's just the ones in black then? So, overall they have great qualities and I do love them dearly, but just be careful about walking in them."

"with slouch boots, u usually get a scrunch on top and a skinny ankle and everything smooths until the end. these don't scrunch a lot, that's why i like them. but i'm a thick girl so they don't got up my calves much. it's a little pointy for my liking but i like the boot when im wearing skinny jeans. do go 1/2 size up."

"got these boots in a 7, usually wear a 6.5, and the 7 fits great. they look great. the stud detail really adds to the whole look of the boot. i like the grip at the bottom of the shoe, quite helpful if you're prone to slipping/falling. i got the tan colored, the photos are pretty accurate in depicting the color. no complaints from me...definitely something you should get."
