"I asked my kids (4&9) if they are OK with this table as their nightstand and they both got super excited and said that this was the coolest table ever, which was enough for me to drive 2hrs to the closest UO and... score! they had the table for me, and for a fabulous price too
all you need to put it together is a screwdriver, wood glue and about 10min of your time (I'm not a carpenter, nor a guy ;)) and instructions are also super easy to follow
the table itself is simply great - made of heavy MDF (not wood as someone said earlier, so expect some offgassing), sturdy, roomy and a perfect size for a bedside table"

Sweet!
Pros: multiple uses, sleek unique look
Cons: wood cracked when putting together, instructions for putting together a little unclear

"I really love this side table. I did have a little bit of a struggle putting it together, but once we figured it out, it was quite simple. Did also crack, like one of the other reviews, on the inside near one of the bolts, but not noticeable and will not impair function/durability. Love the design, it's funky, unique, and very useful. Perfect height for my bed side table. Lovely!"

loved it!
"I bought this product while it was on sale in hopes that it would be worth the $100. ($150 seemed a bit pricey to me) The other review made me question wanting to buy it too because Im not that most intelligent person when it comes to building things with a screwdriver.

I am SO happy that I bought this! I found the instructions alot easier to understand than I was expecting. I had a confusing couple minutes when it came to putting on the top (you'll probably want a friend to help you. Its a snug fit and I had to have my friend push the top part together with me to get the screws to align perfect). Its so cute when you get it all put together! its a sturdy build and I can tell its going to last me a long time! The storage is exactly the right size for magazines and books too so it makes the perfect sidetable for a bed.

The only bad thing is its alittle low to the ground. I knew this before buying it so I expected it. but for anyone with a high off the ground bed this will just end up looking silly! Also i think I screwed in one of the screws to tight and the wood cracked just alittle... i dont know how it could since the wood is nice heavy thick wood, but its nothing thats going to ruin the product long term!"

"It sucks putting this table together. The directions aren't easy for beginning carpenters as myself and the design is a little shoddy. Not what I expected from such a renowned brand as Blu Dot. Regardless, it does look nice put together and has a very modern feel to it.

FYI, the wooden panel goes down the middle of the table, not the back, so there is storage on both the back and in front of the table-- I thought it went along the back due to the picture. This can be a pro or con depending on what you prefer.

Overall, it's a solid product. It'll look nice in a mod room and it's a nice investment for storing stuff or using as a TV stand."
