"These sandals are great. I just got them in black and completely love them. I'm usually a 9 to 9.5 and the 9 fits perfectly. I don't find these sandals particularly narrow, unlike the other reviewers. The only downer is the leather is sort of stiff around the heel."

"simply put, I love these sandals. yes they are narrower then I wanted, but I love them none-the-less. Since my boyfriend is one the shorter side, I can rarely wear heels and find that always wearing flats with skirts, dresses, or shorts tend to make my ankles look a little larger than I wish. the way that theses sandals are designed give to appearance of lift, when in reality there is none. the high back and V shaped straps really give your ankles that look heels give them. Defiantly recommend these to others!"

Great versatile sandal
"I wear a size 9 almost all the time but occasionally I'm an 8.5. I got these in an 8.5 and they fit perfect. They're a great style because they're casual but still nice enough to wear with skirts. Excellent deal for the sale price!"

Runs long and narrow
"This sandal would be best for someone with a narrow foot, in which case size down 1/2 or maybe 1 size. I sized down 1/2 size and still had a little room in the toe area, but the sandal was too narrow for my medium-wide foot. Didn't look as good on my foot as it did on its own, unfortunately. Back comes up high so could cause blisters. Leather scratches easily but sandal is a good deal on sale if it fits you!"

"Rachel Comey always makes amazing shoes. That doesn’t mean I can always afford them. However, these sandals did not fail to live up to her usual aesthetic; I don’t think the price limited the quality of the design, as so many designer collaborations can tend to do. I was torn between ordering a half or whole size down, based on the mixed reviews. I ended up purchasing a half size down, and while they do work, a full size down would have been the best fit. They are really comfortable, just a bit loose around the ankle, but the straps are snug enough, and no major blisters here. Otherwise, they're perfect, and I've pretty much lived in them since I received them. My only regret is that I didn’t order them sooner, because I only have a short fall season to enjoy them before it’s too cold and rainy to go on wearing them."

"I ordered these and immediatley loved them when I opened the box, but when I put them on I realized they were too small. I am a size 8, I ordered a size 8, however these sandals go a tiny bit big and I had a bit of room to move in them. Also, they are a bit stiff when you first put them on on the heel, but I imagine they will take some time to break in since they are made of wonderful leather."

A Great Sandal
"This was a great purchase--a great basic, black sandal. Definitely order a size down. I didn't follow the advice of other reviews and got my usual size 8 (since my feet are a bit on the wide side), but I had to exchange them for the 7.5 because they definitely were too big. The 7.5 is perfect. These are a bit stiff at first and need a good day to break in. After that first day, I haven't had any trouble. I love these shoes and wear them a lot, with jeans, skirt, anything. I love Rachel Comey's designs. Thank UO for the collaboration!"

"I am normally an 8. Ordered these in 7.5, but they just didn't fit properly. I have somewhat of a wide foot, so i was surprised to find that the width fit so well. The back heel of the shoe is a bit too high and rubs against my ankle. they are also a bit too big... maybe a half size smaller will do? against my better judgment, i ordered these in hopes that they would live up to the photos online, but i don't think they do. they are different from other styles, yes. but they are also rather boring.
LONGS STORY SHORT: they're just OK."

"I spent the weeks leading up to summer looking for a sandal that I'd be able to wear with anything and wouldn't leave horrid tan lines (like those gladiator sandals) then I stumbled across these. I was hesitant about buying online because I thought they might not fit so I went around to just about every shoe store I knew of or found to look for a similar pair but I couldn't find them. I read the reviews that said they ran small so I ordered a 6 instead of a 7 (my size) and they fit spectacularly. I feel like I should've gotten two pairs because I will no doubt wear these to death. For the last two months I've worn them an average of 5 days a week and they're like a second skin. They're also extremely comfortable"

"I LOVED these sandals online. When I got them, they were way too big. I didn't bother getting a smaller size, because the top of the back piece dug into the back of my heal really sharply. I don't think it was because they were too big, and the other reviews of the shoes confirmed that. I'm still mourning them because I really love them and wanted them to work out. If you go down at least 1/2 size and are willing to suffer the blisters, they might be worth it."

Cute but don't fit
"These shoes are super cute but are way too big for me. I am always a size 7 but may need a 6.5 or 6 in these. I returned them without ever wearing them but I noticed the back of the heel went rather high on my ankle. This makes me worry about blisters and cuts so I did not reorder them in a different size."

"I'm at work right now, and these sandals are sitting on the floor while my left hand soothes my throbbing ankles. Today is the first day I wore them so that might be why, but they seriously cut my ankles uppp. Theyre really cute though and beauty is pain so I would still recommend them.
Oh and I went a half size down and they fit really well that way, and I'm sure once my ankles forgive and forget theyll be my favourite sandals!"

Pros: they look great on!, comfortable Cons: leather is easily scuffed, they stretch out -- pick up a size down!
"these sandals are perfect for a casual walk through the city in the summertime, which is precisely why i bought them. because of the wide strap along the toe-line, they stretch out a bit so i would suggest picking up a size down. also, you get what you pay for -- the leather is easily scuffed. overall, the pros outweigh the cons in this situation."

Nice Style, Easily scuffed
"These sandals look great, unfortunately if they don't fit you well, you're gonna end up with bloody ankles. The ankle bit rubs against your leg and might give you cuts.
If they do fit well, these are a nice buy. Try not to kick things around in them because they get scratched easily. I think this gives them a nice vintage look though"

Order a size down.
"Saw these in the catalog and had to have them. I ordered these in a 10 and they were too big lengthwise and the straps were very loose. I returned them for a 9 and they fit much better. It took me a day to break in the heels but now they are much better and very comfortable."

wish they fit!
"I was really excited about this shoe. the style is so versitle and could be worn with virtually anything. however, when they arrived yesterday, they are just too darn big! and the back part is really high on the back of my ankle and I could imagine many painful days and blisters. great idea, not so great outcome."
