favorite boots ever.
"i definately considered these shoes an investment. and i am very happy i decided to purchase them. they go great with any outfit and make just jeans and a tshirt look so much better.
as far as fit though i did have to get a size up. i do love how the more i wear them the more the leather looks a bit more weathered. and i dont mean cracking by any means- just the smooth texture slowly forms to the way you wear the shoe. i also think they are one of the most comfortable shoes i own- because again they start to form perfectly to your foot.
jeffrey campbell has won my heart"

"These boots look great with just about any outfit. I would say to order a size up than what you normally wear because they do run a bit small. Ive had them for a few weeks and the leather scratches VERY easily. I put leather protectant on it and so far so good. I really love the way they look on me and I get tons of compliments. Overall, super good looking shoe, well fitting, soft leather, but quite expensive."

"These shoes are absolutely gorgeous. I really wanted an oxford shoe, but these add a little more 'kick' to that look. I didn't get one of these colours, I got a lighter brown from another store that had my size 11. They are soft and comfortable, and will be perfect for the spring and summer with a cute 60's style dress.
Jeffrey Campbell continues to rock my world."

great shoe... however
"when i first bought these, i absolutely loved them. they went with dresses and tights and jeans- everything! awesomely versatile. however... its been 2 months since ive bought these, and they look horrible. im definitely not hard on my shoes, i consider them an investment and something i plan to have for a while. and yet, ive lost 2 brackets on them, the color of the leather has absolutely faded at the toe, and at the tips of both shoes, the rubber sole is coming off. they glued the soles on. for as much as i paid for these, i expected them to last a year, not two months. and i definitely expected somewhat better quality leather, and not glued on soles. wow. last time im buying from this maker. very disappointed. :("

"- These boots are !HOT! I purchased them about two months ago, and love them! They go with just about everything, are super comfy, go through massive depths of snow and salt, and are definitley worth it. Sizing fits to size, and does stretch out a bit as the boot is leather, I wear a size 10 shoe, and the biggest problem I have is having some shoes make my feet look clowinsh. these did not do this at all, in flact they make my feet look smaller then they are. Perfect boot. Now im just excited in seeing how they will fend in the summer paired with shorts:)"

"These booties are comfy and versatile. They look good with jeans and also with a dress/skirt and tights. They fit true to size and are roomy enough to wear thick socks with. I bought them about two months ago and I wear them maybe 3-4 times a week. One shoe already has a hole and one of the hooks for laces has fallen off. It's unfortunate that they fell apart so quickly. If you don't plan to use them as frequently as I do, I would say they are a good shoe because they can be casual or dressy. However, these aren't a pair of shoes that will last a long time. I get lots of compliments on them still, so I'll keep wearing them until they completely fall apart."

cute but stiff
"These shoes fit great, they lace up nice and tight on your ankle. The leather is really stiff but beautiful (i got brown) i guess i'll have to wait and see if they get softer. im usually a 8.5 or 9 i got 9's and they fit perfect, and dont make my feet look big at all. they look just like the pictures! dont look great with boot cut pants but awesome with skinny jeans! good quality, they definatly arnt going to fall apart any time soon!"

"I bought these shoes in June and loved them. They fit well and look cute. But within the first 2 months they had degraded far more than you'd expect in such a short time. The sole is so thin it wears down within weeks so the leather rubs against the ground and tears holes in both the heel and toe. And the leather is such poor quality that it's basically ruined if you get caught out in the rain even once, even with weather-protectant.
For the price I expect much better quality, and I am extremely disappointed in these. I feel totally ripped off."

Great Fall Shoe!St. Louis, MO
"It took a couple days to break them in, but after that they are extremely comfortable. I am 5'9" and wear a size 10 and these were perfect! I wear them with skinny jeans, or black tights and black dresses. I bought them in a tan color from another website, and I prefer this color to the two listed on here. It's rustic and everything else I own is black, so I decided to change it up."

"I’ve been wanting these shoes for several months, but I didn’t have enough extra money to buy them. Today I received a UO package… surprise! My mom sent me these as a present! They are amazing. I wear an 8.5 in most shoes and got these in the same size. They fit perfectly and are oh so comfy. They are worth every penny. I highly recommend them."

"I lusted after these shoes for too long and when i finally gave in and got them my expectations fell short. The leather and make of the shoe is beautiful beyond belief but i have only wore them twice and i noticed that the heel was worn down and chipped. I am 5'2 and wear a 6.5 shoe, i ordered size 7 and they fit like a glove so i would recommend to order at least half a size up! I am saddened by that fact that because i am not tall i can't really wear them with skirts because they tend to make your legs look stubbish :( However if you have been looking at these shoes for months i recommend you at least order them and see how they look on, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives."

Best booties!
"I got these boots for Christmas last year and was so excited to have them. I've worn them throughout a snowy and wet winter and am now heading into my 2nd with them. These boots are so cute, and whenever I wear them I get a lot of compliments. They look great with skirts, tights and jeans. If you are looking for a short book, these are definitely the boot. The only negative, if I wear them all day and walk around a lot, my feel hurt a bit. But, I think that's expected."

"Let me start out by saying that I lusted after these little babies for a long time before I scrounged up enough money to get them. I was a little nervous about the quality after reading other reviews, but I was more than pleased upon their arrival. All the bits and pieces were tightly attached, despite the warnings of a previous review. I chose the beautiful brown color over the standard black, and couldn't be happier. I wear six and a half, which is pretty impossible to come by on UO, for reasons I do not understand, so after reading every single review, I decided to try a size seven. Almost perfect fit, let me tell you, and VERY comfortable. The leather is very soft, and easily gets scratched on my many and frequent adventures, but I think that adds character, and there's always polish at the shoe store. I do wish I had more pants, though, because ankle boots paired with skirts make my legs look a bit stubby (not that it's the boot's fault). Overall, I'd give the class booties an A+ (or about 99%). If your wavering, buy them. Do it. You will not regret it, I promise.

"I live in Australia so i wasnt sure purchasing shoes online was a great idea. Though im so glad i did! I purchased these in brown. They are so cute and different to every other boot ive seen instores! I purchased my regular size - 8.5, though these are extremely tight. So much so i should really return them for a 9, which i probably wont do as its such a hassle (and expensive) to post overseas. I agree with other reviewers that they arent the best quality (and are very stiff) especially considering the expensive price tag. That aside i love the vintage feel they have and look forward to wearing them with skinnys and florals!! Can i also highly recommend the We Who See Field Boot. I purchased these also and theyre a very similiar style to these.. (more comfortable and cheaper!!)"

"I've been watching these shoes for a while, but i finally broke down and got them. I do not agree with other reviewers about going a size up: i have wide, flat feet and normally wear an 8, and the 8 fits me perfectly in these shoes. They are very stiff, and clearly need to be broken in. I can feel that they will be perfect after that though. They are so cute, and so vintage looking and cool.
I'm so glad i broke down and got them!!!"

"I ordered these in brown last week and they finally came this morning. Needless to say I ripped open the box like a 7 year old at christmas and immediately tried them on. Although they will need some breaking in, they otherwise fit well, and look stunning! The box is cute too. A++."

so worth it
"i bought these shoes last week and think they are amazing. however, they are very cheaply made for the cost of the,. I got them out of the box, put them on, and started to lace them up when one of the brackets fell off. I glued it back in and wore than anyway, that night i went to take them off and another buckle had falled off and was lost. I returned them at the store and ordered another pair. I'm going to preglue all the buckles on because they are so worth it. i am in love with these shoes. not much sole support, but super comfortable and look cute with pretty much anything"

"When I first got these shoes, the smell of leather/plastic seemed impossible to get rid of. but after some odd days of wearing them the stench fades away. I'm not really used to wearing shoes like these. (I've always worn Vans and Converse) So I was a little unsure about keeping them, but I took the chance and began to wear them. I have wide feet, but these weren't a problem. (oh! and they look quite vintage) They're a little stiff at first, but I walked all thoughout the wet Gettysburg fields, the Washington D.C. streets, and climbed hills with these puppies! And after that they looked good, all worn and such. People made fun of me because they thought they looked like elf shoes or something, but it was still cool. The only problem was the top shoe lace bracket began to tear off, and now it's hanging by a thread. It doesn't give me any reason to return them because I can always fix it."

"I loooove these little booties. They are so retro and the buckle gives it that something extra special. They are very soft and light and I always feel like skipping when I slip my feet into these little elf boots. I got a size 8 which is my regular size and they fit perfectly. Worth every penny and as others have stated, the picture online doesn't do them justice. They are much lovelier in person."
