The most incredible jacket I have ever ownedNew York
"The Anderson is INCREDIBLE. I wear XS/S in everything (I like my clothes to fit snug) and am 5'9 and 140lbs, and a small fit me PERFECTLY. It can easily be buttoned to look like the most stylish peacoat you've ever owned. I was apprehensive to buy for a jacket that I hadn't tried on -- but I am SO glad I did. When you wear this jacket, you stand out. Not because it is shiny or flashy -- it isn't. Because, if you're a slim guy, it looks like it was tailored to your body. It looks straight off of the runway. Furthermore, the material is amazing. Yesterday -- on a February night in NYC -- I wore the jacket with a sweater underneath & was warm. It is not very heavy but the material is strong and thicker than I expected. The only minor flaw -- which I read on other reviews -- is that the buttons feel loose. They do seem very strongly sewed on, though, and I've buttoned and unbuttoned the jacket with no problems. URBAN -- PLEASE BRING BACK THIS JACKET NEXT YEAR! I MUST BUY IT IN GRAY!!! MUST!!! I'm debating if I should buy another black one just in case. I am worried I will never find another coat again that fits me this well and looks so AMAZING. RESTOCK THE GRAY!!!! "This Jacket is more of a winter jacket for me. The material is very thick and sturdy. It looks great with the collar up or down. Everything about this jacket is just amazing. I can't stop wearing it.
And there is a breast pocket on the inside of the coat, with room for a snack, a flask, or a gun.
Great jacket, best purchase so far. Thinking about buying a second one just for sh*ts and giggles."

"Here's a novel idea - a review from a woman!
I had been looking for a coat like this for the longest, and it being in the mens section wasn't going to stop me of course.
I was pretty worried about the size from the other reviews - so I ordered a medium (in mens I'm usually a small). This turned out to be the best choice, as it fit me nearly perfectly. I'm about 5'5, 130lbs, and a C cup - I was worried that I wouldn't be able to button the jacket over my bust but I did so with no problems. The only thing that didn't fit quite right were the arms, I noticed where the armpit of the jacket is isn't where mine is so it makes it awkward when you reach, and oddly enough they are somewhat baggy on my arms. Those things do not bother me however or take away any of my love for this jacket. :)
Now onto the actual look/feel. The coat looks great, plain and simple. It has a bold silhouette and is playful with the different ways you can button it for different looks - and it looks great unbuttoned too. It does not appear to be heavy - but it actually is! I live in Texas so the winters here aren't that cold, I can walk outside when its in the 40s and not notice the cold at all. Not sure how it would fair in colder climates though. I also adore the material - one of the main reasons I bought it because it's so rare to find a coat in this style not made of some lint-magnet cotton. I agree with the other comments that the buttons are scary flimsy - they feel loose and like they could easily fall off, but it hasn't happened to me yet.
So there you have it! If you've been wanting a coat like this then it's worth every penny."

"I got this in black. I'm 6'1 thin guy at 150. I did order a size up The large fits fine, maybe the med would work however it would have been to short in the sleeve. For my climate this is a awesome winter coat. Not a winter coat for northern climes. It really shows dust and lint, & of course it would but worse then I expected. Feels good the buttons are okay was worried about these however I don't like how it balloons out at the top of the vent since I cut the vent lose. And the stitching is poorly done around where the vent connects to the jacket, I may decide to have this looked at because it could be causing it to puff out. Should have left the vent stitched if I knew it would do this. I like the vent opened on a jacket. I've gotten some nice compliments and I'm happy, thumbs up!"

"ok so i hesitated for about a month before i finally ordered this jacket. i didnt know what to do i wear a size small in tops and sometimes even small is too big on me, but i read the reviews and everyone kept saying size up, but some said it fit like a glove but i didnt kno what to do. so i, sized up and got a medium. it was one of da greatest decisions ive ever made, it fits great, taylor made great, and its slim fit and da buttons arent bad at all. everything about this jacket is great, it also keeps u pretty warm. so if you do decide to buy dis great looking jacket just remember to size up"

I ordered an X-Large but I usually wear medium on everything. I am about 6-6'1 and 180-190lbs and it fits perfectly with the XL. Everything is clean cut and slim.

"Maybe I'm odd. I didn't have any issue with the sizing of this coat. I'm 6'0 and 145 lbs, and it fit me as if it were tailored for me personally. I suppose, though, if you have more than a couple of fat cells on your body, you might have more trouble than I have wearing the coat. It works for me based on my build, and I gather that the people who gave it excellent "fits good" reviews are built similarly to me.
The coat is of great quality; it is quite warm, and the interior is soft and comfortable. The buttons are admittedly a bit loose, but it's not so difficult to tighten them. A 2 minute fix.
The pockets are sewn shut, so they need to be opened. Another 2 minute fix.
I won't even get started how good it looks (I bought it in black). Super cool jacket. Buy it!"

awesome jacket
"when i first saw this jacket, i thought it was perfect. it's not super thick like a winter jacket but good enough to fit a hoodie or sweater under to keep warm without looking bulky. after reading the reviews, i was ensured that it was going to be a great buy. i'm a small dude (5'5") and i got a small and it fits like a glove.
the only thing that i'm wary about are the buttons. they seem kind of loose. the pockets are there, you just have to cut open the seams like suit jackets."

"I ordered the black jacket and it looks great in person so too bad I had to return it because the medium I ordered was way too small in the shoulders. Kind of funny because I thought the shoulders would be too broad based on the back side photo. I'm only 5-5, thin, and not broad shouldered.
I measured my size medium jacket so you can all get an idea of the sizing.
It's also tight around the stomach and small of the back so beware if you don't have a flat stomach."

Runs very small!
"This jacket is really nice looking, and made well. The only problem is that it runs extremely small! I never wear anything bigger than a small, and this jacket was skin tight! I could barely button it. I liked the style so much, I returned the small and ordered a medium. I hope that will be big enough. You definitely need to order atleast one size bigger than you normally do."

"Great jacket.
Ive got a tall, lean build and the medium fits me perfectly. I do suggest that you buy a size up. It may not be the warmest winter coat in the world - but for those of us not braving snow and the harsh north country, it does really well. looks sharp and keep me warm!

"So, this is my first purchase from UO's website and it has really been an excellent experience. I was a little hesitant about dropping that much coin on a jacket, but it was totally worth it. I live in Tennessee so the winters don't get that cold, but with this I will be able to brave the coldest winters Tennessee has to offer. I just got it today, so I cannot say that I have gotten any compliments, but it looks super great. I would suggest ordering a size up though. It says that I am in the range for a size small so reading these reviews on here I ordered a Medium. It fits perfectly, almost like I had it taylor made. Over all my favorite article of clothing I own."

"I have to rate this jacket down, slightly - to counter all the glowing reviews which I feel, are a bit misleading.
The jacket does run a size small. I bought the black as a fall/winter coat. I must stress this is more of a fall than a winter jacket. I'm in Chicago - I can't see myself wearing something so thin when the temp gets below 20 degrees, perhaps with a sweater or something unerneath.
My biggest complaint is the fabric and the tailoring. The fabric is canvas - for it to be a functional winter coat in Chicago it needs to be a slicker, waterproof material, with a thicker lining. The buttons also feel very flimsy - mine have not fallen off, but I will not be surprised if one of them does fall off. That's bad tailoring. But $128 is cheap for a cool looking coat, I still recommend it in general."

"I agree with the the other reviews advise in regards to buying 1 if not 2 sizes larger. I usually buy men's small and actually purchased this jacket in a medium because I read all the reviews and the medium was still too small. I returned it for a men's large and it fits perfectly. Everyone loves this jacket. It's gotten me laid a couple of times at least."
