Fun Idea but...

"I really love the uniqueness and creativity of these speakers. Great for a dorm room setting so friends can scribble and sign them. However, the sound quality isn't great. And when I received them in the mail, only one of the speakers worked. I'm going to have to send them back although I love the idea."

Cool Product, Bad Sound Quality

"I love that you can draw on them and that they are super portable. It's also great for dorm speakers because they don't require and battery/plug-in. It would be nice, however to be able to use them more often rather than just for show. My laptop speakers are louder than them...Definitely something to purchase more for decoration."

"My boyfriend got these for me for my birthday and they are great.
Sure, the sound isn't what you would expect from a top of the line stereo, but they sound fine for 10 dollars. They are wonderfully fun to decorate. I have one for my friends to sign and one for me to draw epic battle scenes.
Definitely a fun gift."

"For wireless speakers mad out of cardboard, you just can't get much better than these. They fold flat for travel, they're totally cute, and they're fun for homies to decorate. I can dig 'em."

"Though they look adorable and are fun to decorate, they sound not so good. My standards for cheap speakers are pretty realistic, but these are quiet and distorted. Maybe the ones I bought were defective, but they did not sound so nice.
Functionality aside, theyre still and OK novelty gift and fun to decorate and they look realllly cute."

"they're amazing! i bought them for myself because i had seen them in so many magazines along with wonderful reviews; the reviews were right. they're adorable and can be folded up so i can take them on trips with me which makes them quite handy. i also love how eco-friendly they are. it totally makes the purchace even better. i will definately be buying more from urban outfitters soon!!!"

A Lot of Fun

"I bought these speakers for my boyfriend and he really liked them. We had a lot of fun decorating them together. I fully expected these speakers to sound cheap, but they're actually not bad at all. It's definitely worth the $18. It does, however, use up iPod batteries quite quickly."
