"I love the way this radio looks and feels. I feel like I own a piece of history. The sound is exactly what an old radio sounds like so don't expect it to be bumpin' with bass. I put the radio on my sewing table to listen to some tunes on my ipod. Don't buy this if you want to have a party and expect super loud music. The volume dial doesn't go very high and you need to raise the volume on your ipod to hear the music louder. You can hear music from the radio really well. It is aesthetically very pleasing, but not ideal for a super loud, bass bumpin' party in your room. You have the option of plugging it into the wall or carrying it to a picnic with 4 double AA batteries."
