worth it. new york, ny
"i'm a huge id tuttle fan, but can only dream of purchasing their shoes. i had been coveting tuttle's 'pygmalion' style & about died when i saw the fruits of the ou/tuttle collab because this item is practically identical for a fraction of the cost. tuttle has a great reputation for their comfort & quality, so i was hoping for the best, but bracing myself in the event that these would be cheap like a lot of ou's shoes sometimes turn out. this was not at all the case, as the shoes are everything i expected & more. they fit true to size (i ordered my usual 7.5), & have yet to hurt my feet during wear. i'm beyond pleased."

possibly the best ankle boots ever made. Berkeley & Los Angeles, CA
Pros: good quality modern design

"As soon as I saw these online, I had to have them. The architectural heel, the different textures, the awesome quality, the whole design is gorgeous. These look amazing with leggings, super skinny jeans, and perhaps mini dresses (depending on the shape). They're quite comfortable for a pair of heels, although you obviously can't wear them for several hours of standing/walking, keep in mind that they are heels. If you have an extra $200 laying around for a pair of shoes, or just an extra $200 in general (recession, smechession), I would recommend investing in these boots."

Love them! Los Angeles, CA
"Perfect height, not overly-sexified, and totally wearable.

I've been waiting on boots like these for so long and I finally bit the bullet. As much as I balked at the price, I couldn't find anything I liked half as much.

No regrets on this purchase whatsoever.

excellent boston, ma
Pros: comfortable, round toe
Cons: heal already wearing down

"i was totally fiending for the LD tuttle boots i'd seen around on ye olde internet and these are the perfect less expensive version. i am not a heel-wearer but i'm willing to try, these boots are totally babely, and as an added bonus i can walk more than 6 steps in them. hotdamn!

the site says the heel is 4.75 in, and you can tell from the picture that they're not actually that tall. in real life they're a little over 3 in high. i usually wear an 8 in sneakers and boots, but i got a 7.5 in these and they fit perfectly. they look awesome with short black pants and some bright colored socks underneath! do it!

Pros: great architechtural style, comfortable mostly, goes with everything, adds height
Cons: your feet might hurt at the end of the day

"I frickin love these boots. I knew as soon as I saw them that I was going to be 200 dollars poorer. And the first time I wore them I got 2 compliments within minutes. They go with everything and anything, and make me so much taller !
Buuuuuut definitely not for wearing all day, my feet start to hurt after a couple hours of standing, but otherwise so comfortable.
And the inside started to come off, but I'm not sure if that is due to faulty manufacturing, because otherwise these boots are grand.
