"bought these skimmers in black and they are quite like what i was searching for, a pair of lace flats. bought them in size 9 and they were indeed a tad too big, but i could still wear them. breaking in was thankfully no problem at all! (:
only problem with these pair of shoes is that it requires care. i was careless while walking and accidentally snagged the front of the shoe on some pavement bits and now the lace has torn and there's a little hole there :( am qt sad and bummed about that, but so far no one really noticed so i am still wearing it out. (:"

"I wear these with everything. They look really good and I've even gotten compliments from men.
I don't think they run that big. I wear a size 9. Sometimes when I buy from UO I get a 9.5 if they look like they won't fit. In this case from the reviews, I bought a 8.5 and I wish I hadn't. I can put them on, but a size 9 would have been fine.
I don't mind buying another because they are so cute, I want another pair. I've had them for about 1 month and they don't look like they'll last for years, but through the summer."

adorable shoes, wrong fit
"these shoes are probably the cutest shoes i've ever purchased, but the sizes run pretty big; by about an entire shoe size! when i put them on i had nearly an inch of room behind my heel. but i still found a way to wear them!"

just what i was looking for
Pros: gorgeous lace, unique cut around toeline, matches well Cons: sizing is too large, lace has potential to wear
"i stick by the general consensus that these can be dressed up or down. they do beautiful things to an outfit. i also found the sizing to be misleading, they feel around 1/2 a size or even a full size too big, but it doesn't compromise my walking abilities."

cute shoes
"these can be dressed up or down which is what i love about them. the lace got a little frayed later on but that might be due to my clumsiness so i dunno.
they did run a little large. i felt like i was wearing half a size bigger. but it didn't interfere with walking or anything so it's all good. =] i'm glad i got these"

really really useful
Pros: comfortable, durable, lightweight Cons: hurt after a lot of walking
"when i first bought these shoes i thought i would only wear them to a few nice event and thats it. However, I have worn them to school with jeans and also to really fancy dinners with skirts and dresses. I dont like neutral or solid clothes, so the best part about these shoes is they have a pattern and are interesting in themselves, yet i can wear them with all my clothes that have crazy patterns and bright colors. I got the shoes in black lace and can wear them 2 school and be comfortable, but after wearing them all day for 2 days straight, i did get small blisters on my heels.I have super narrow feet so these are a bit wide."

"I absolutely love them! I had to exchange size 8 1/2 for 8s, but now I have them and they're adorable! The snow just needs to melt so I can wear them... :/ Great price, too. The lace is delicate looking. Dress them up or down."

Very cute but it was a size bigger
"Saw it online and ordered it because it looks so delicate, sleek and cute. When I received it, it look exactly the same but I was a little dissappointed because it was a size bigger for me. I'm a regular size 8 and it fits like size 8.5..but I'll just keep it, since I can purchase insoles or something else to make the fit more snug."

"The lace on the shoes looks so delicate, it is very cute, but also versatile. The shoes are sooo comfortable. I didn't even have to break them in, which is very unusual with flats for me. I wore them to school 2 days in a row without any pain. Very happy with this purchase, especially with them so cheap!"

"I just got these flats in the mail today and they are ADORABLE. Very classy, stylish, and trendy (but I'm sure they won't scream last season if you wear them for years to come), and the quality is excellent. I haven't worn them outdoors yet so I'm not too sure how they'll hold up (it's very snowy outside right now) but the traction seems to work fine on carpet. I'm a size 8, but I ordered 8.5 because I was scared of breaking them in... but I should've ordered them in an 8 because 8.5 is just a little too big! In a good way, though. Very comfy. You won't regret it. The It shoe for the fashionista :)"

why not have 9 1/2?
"this shoe is very cute and i wanted to buy them but the urban outfitters does not carry a size nine and a half shoe. i do not understand because there are sizes: seven and a half, eight and a half, nine and ten, but no nine and a half. i would think they would sell well, even better than the size ten shoe, since it is a more reasonable/popular size. a nine is too small for me and a ten is too large, so obviously i need a nine and a half and it simply does not exist. i believe urban outfitters would make more profit and make the customers more satisfied if they sold a nine and a half size shoe. thank you"
