A bit too pricey

"I have this scarf in the giraffe print which is no longer available. It's pretty cute but I was definitely surprised by how cheap the material was. It's pretty see-through but I guess it looks that way online, I was hoping for something thicker and nicer. I don't recommend buying this, like other reviewers have said, it's too expensive for a cheap scarf."

"the scarf is beautiful but i looked like i had walked off the set of Night of the Living Dead on Christmas day! I was so humiliated. The scarf left my neck dark gray and if you even pick up the stupid thing your hands are immediately dyed. I too tried soaking it, even boiled it...nothing. still bleeds all over my skin and I totally regret paying ANYTHING for the scarf."

Cute Scarf, Bad Quality
"i really liked this scarf but the first time i wore it, all the color bled onto my neck.when i washed it, all the leopard patterns washed off and dyed all my other clothing. it is not worth $28."

seriously?
"this scarf i received as a gift and thought the print was great but as every other review says, the dye was all over me! my mom read to soak the cheap material (advertised as linen but actually viscose) in cold water to get rid of the excess dye. 6 hours later (i drained the water and wrung it out at least 10 times) it's still the same. on top of that there's a huge flaw running down the center of the scarf's stitching. i can't believe they can sell this."

real disappointment

"although the pattern is gorgeous (i got the leopard print), i held the scarf in my hands for two minutes and when i went to wash them the water was black. there's no way i'm going to wear something where the dye is just rubbing off all over me, it could be dyed using lead since it came from india. ALSO i'm so annoyed because online UO says the scarf is made of linen but it's not, the scarf clearly says "viscose". i would never pay that much for a lousy viscose scarf; it's a cheap material compared to linen."

Chimney Sweep Face!
"BEWARE! All the other reviews are correct! This scarf leaves black scarf soot all over your hands, neck, and face! I can't believe everyone acknowledged this, yet still gave it good reviews. I noticed some people thought they might try washing it before wearing it. Well guess what? I washed mine- cold wash, gentle cycle- and the whole thing fell apart into little sooty bits! This was a waste of money!"

"Love the way this scarf looks and love the way it looked with my outfit...but the black stuff on my neck? not so much. I tried washing it and I still got black dye on my fingers when I checked it afterward. I had to take it back to the store and exchange for a different print. Don't do it."

Cute but color fades....
"The scarf is overall very pretty in appearance. Mine isn't orange at all like the other reviews say....however wash it before you wear it! The color fades right off onto ANYTHING (in my case my $100 Nort Face Fleece) awful! Besides that I am happy with it!"

Green Leopard
"I fell in love with the green leopard scarf and wore it immediately after I purchased it. However,that night when I was getting ready to go to bed I noticed I had black ALL over my neck!! The color rubbed off on my and I had to scrub it of in the shower! I am going to try washing it to see if it will do it again, but if you plan on purchasing it I suggest you wash it before you wear it too! but I still love UO just as well"

Love giraffe!
"I have so much leopard and zebra print, and I was stoked when I found the giraffe print scarf. I don't think mine looked more orange than expected as the previous reviewer said, but I didn't realize just how light the linen would be. I wore it with a wifebeater, cardigan, and skinny jeans and it just made me so happy!"

Colors a little different
"I love animal print, and about died when I saw this scarf. However, the color in the scarf online is a little more brown than it is in real life. It is more orange in real life, but nonetheless it is very cute. Since it is linen, it obviously will not keep you warm, but it is a good accessory and goes with a lot of different things"
