"i've kind of stopped buying urban jewelry because i fall in love with a necklace and find that the paint rubs off or it oxidizes or it turns my skin different colors within a few weeks.
this is a total exception. both the chain and the charm have held up so far. the snake charm is heavier than i expected and really does not feel cheap at all. i love it. it's a bit long on me, it falls right between my boobs so i can't wear it clasped with shirts that show cleavage, but i sometimes just tie the chain into a knot so i can control how high up the charm sits. with that, it's perfect. i actually wear it with the black stripe facing in so it's just a silver silhouette of a snake. it's great."

"this is a great looking necklace. ive had it for i guess half a year now to almost a year now. the necklace's chain started to turn silverish grey and the back of the serpant started to turn silverish grey also. it's cheap, but it looks good."

"this necklace was absolutely the best i've bought as far as looks but after wearing it a few times the chain snapped. i put the charm on another chain and after wearing it one more time it started rusting. its really cute but dont expect it to take you farther than $18"

"I absolutely love this necklace. Everytime I wear it, people notice it and compliment it. I have the silver one and love the mix of the textured metal and the smooth black design. I also, for whatever reason, really adore the snake's little eyes (cute!). I've had it for about 5 months now and nothing has broken, changed color, or disappointed me in any way. It's really a pretty great necklace."

"Because the chain is a bit too long, a girl with "lovely lady lumps" can't comfortabley show it off. Everytime I take a step, the snake flips sides a lot because my "lumps" bounce it back and forth. its an eye catcher but you get what yo pay for

Cons: breaks easy
"I get compliments on it but the chain itself is a weird length. The longest setting isn’t quite long enough and the shortest setting inst quite short enough
I've had it for a few days and the claps broke because I accidently pulled on it when I got up from laying on my tummy. Its ok I just use tape now and its almost better because I can adjust it to the length I want
It really depends on if you’re willing to spend the 18 dollars on a design or if it’s not worth because of the quality. I probably would have switched chains anyway because I don’t like the length so it wasn’t a huge issue for me."

Cons: the chain feels a little thin
"I went to UO to look for this necklace and a few other items, and I wanted this in silver. The store only carried gold, but I bought it anyways. It has a beautiful design, and it's very unique looking with the black stripes around the snake. It matches most of my wardrobe, and especially looks good with v-neck tees. I wish they would have had silver though. The chain isn't that long if you adjust the size of the necklace, and the snake is thinner and smaller than I thought it would be, contrary to some of the other reviews.
Overall, a very good purchase =)"

"This is a really pretty necklace. I bought it in gold and I can wear it with lots of outfits.
The quality is nice and sturdy doesn't seem that it will break.
Also, you can adust the length for a longer or shorter fit! For some reason the pictures don't show this feature."
