"From the pics & reviews I expeced it to be a bit better quality... Was somewhat disappointed. The zipper is cheapy & so is the material. One should note it is quite floppy/non-structured, kinda like a big giant hobo bag. Not for use as an everyday bag (at least not for most people!). Does fit a lot of your stuff if needed!! Thats the main upside! Good for a travel bag."

"the bag looks great and is very roomy. however be careful of putting heavy things in the bag. i bought the bag for school, basically to put everything in there so i wudnt have to carry two bags or watever. within a month of using the the zipper broke and the long strap broke too. i used it to carry books, so the load wasnt that heavy but the bag wasnt made to last. i still use the bag because it does look great but i use it for the gym not to go out to school or in general. great looking bag but not the best quality material made to last. dont use it to carry heavy loads of books etc"

"I was so excited to receive this bag and it's really nice & big enough for literally everything. i love it but after a week of using the side strap, the seams holding the hook of the strap broke. Even after trying to sew it back together, it continued to tear :( so bottom line is: don't use the side strap much or at all, especially with heavy contents in your bag! the shoulder straps are perfectly fine though & and i still adore it. i would still recommend buying it regardless"

"Well, I'd been after this bag for a while so when I finally got the money to get it, the brown came in the mail and it was SO CUTE. It's really big so I can just throw a bunch of stuff in it like textbooks, clothes, etc. But after about two weeks, my zipper broke! It still works, as long as I kind of tuck the top down so people can't see that it's open, but it kinda blows. hope it's just a flaw on mine because this purse is adorable and I love it. It goes with everything and looks fantastic with my yellow winter coat and brown boots. I still recommend getting it!"

"My mom got this bag for me and once I saw it I loved it. The color is great and the material too, the bag is pretty big but it still looks good. "Omigosh I've been meaning to write a review for this bag for some time now. I just looove it, seriously I use it for EVERYTHING and it had withstood the odds while maintaining shape and keeping up appearances. My only complaint is the linen covered cardboard thing in it falls out a lot, but it doesn't really matter. I got this sometime in the summer for boarding school, i needed a bag that was up to scratch on lugging heavy textbooks all over the place. This bag delivers, I was hesistant because I don't like ordering online without seeing what I'm actually buying, but i went for it, and its completely worth it. Plus its oh-so-chic!! I got it in gray which is so versatile and couldn't be happier. Thank You Urban!! <3"

Very cute bag, but very poor quality
"I bought this bag for $68 in Jan 2009. It broke in Jan 2010. The zipper broke off, the strap broke within 2 months, and the zipper lining became unraveled within 8 months of use. Pros: very cute, stylish, "pleather," easy to transport your personal items for use as an everyday bag for school, travel, commuting etc.
Cons: Quality, durability, and cost. This bag is overpriced for what it is actually worth. The bag liner on the bottom is cheap and basically cardboard, and is useless in providing your bag with any structure. The strap broke off while carrying the bag. That is a fail in my book (I used the same Jansport backpack for over 10 years without any rips or defects). The zipper liner came undone or un-sewn, and then ripped off while simply closing the bag just recently. I believe a bag that you pay almost 70 dollars for should last you for more than 1 year without any problems.
Finally, I like Urban Outfitters for their style and unique items, and have been happy with other purchases, but I don't think this bag is a good purchase."

BAD QUALITY
"I LOVE the way the bag, however, the first day I wore it the strap broke. I use the long strap only. I don't have much weight in my bag. I carry a wallet in it, 3 CD's, small lotion, phone, lipstick and foundation. The purse hardly had any weight in it and right away the strap broke. The actual metal crumbled off and was on my driveway along with all of the things in my bag. I love the bag, I got it in brown and I had to have my boyfriend use pliers to close the metal around the strap and find a way to hook it back on. I wish it was nicer quality but I love the purse I just think it's adorable and perfect for me if it was semi-functional I'd buy another one. Anybody wanting to carry a laptop, books, or anything nearly as heavy or even for everyday school use this bag is NOT RECCOMENDED."

"My father gave me this as a present for Christmas. Best bag I received in a long time! It's ridic massive, but in a good way. And when I don't stuff it full of all my college text books it doesn't overwhelm as a big bag. It relaxes but still has form. I also love the side pockets that do not have zippers perfect to place my phone or keys in and not have to rummage through the bag. It has interior pouches as well, which are usual in any sort of purse. I would buy this bag over and over again if I wished. So amazingly great! No complaints"

"I got this bag on Christmas and I couldn't be happier. It'll be perfect for school and for the shows I do because I'm a stage manager and pretty much carry my life and everyone else's around with me. It's so huge and very true to the picture. I had one in the past that was similar to this and never used the longer strap with that one either so I probably wont use this one. The handles are big enough that you can fit the bag on your shoulder anyway so I don't see the importance of a longer strap. I plan on telling a few friends about this one."

"I just opened this bag this morning for christmas after awing over it online for a couple months and i was not disappointed what so ever! i LOVE it! i got it in brown, and it looks just like the picture.. i'm not sure if i'll ever use the long strap because of what others have said about it, and so far i have kept the cardboard piece in, although it does seem useless. i cannot wait to go on many adventures with it! oh and it's also pretty big, it appears smaller from the outside but the inside is HUGE! i'm so excited about this bag and i hope it meets up to my standards :)"

"i bought this last year in september and i used it for school every day. i brought tons of books clothes and stuff to school and it was pretty durable for the most part. i used the regular straps (not the long one) and it withstood about everything. however, this year i decided to try the long strap and i put all the same junk in there and it ended up ripping so definitely be careful of what you put in there if you use the long strap! otherwise, it's a cute bag and definitely a great investment not to mention the price got knocked down since i last got it!"
