If you get the right size...

"then they are perfect. i somehow got these in a lighter blue in store, and just grabbed a 29 off the shelves. (i guess it was fate, because i wear a 27) they were only SLIGHTLY big, even sized up that much, but i figured they'd shrink in the wash. which they did. now they're perfect and VERY comfortable! they've changed my perspective on high waisted jeans. just size up once or (more likely) twice."

Too Small and Ugly Back

"I wear a 24 or 0 in all of my jeans . When i read the reviews, i figured i'd order a 25. When i got the pants in the mail, the 25 was too small ( i could put them on and button them, but had to hold my breath to zip ) and the back of the jeans made my butt look flat and reminded me of "mom jeans" theyre cute online, but not on people. Even when you wear a 24/ size 0"

"I ordered these in a 28 ( normally I am a 27) to avoid un-flattering tightness. It worked out perfect. Snug, but not to snug. If you go a size too big then the high waisted waist band will fold over in weird places when you sit, so I would recomend going smaller size rather then too big, because remember they always do stretch with a little morning stretching. I received numerous compliments for the high fashion look. The wonderful thing about these particular high waisted jeans is that they can be worn WITH or WITHOUT a tugged in shirt- gives you more options. Overall my favoirte jeans, I got them last fall and have warn them through all the seasons and they are still looking at there prime."

"I had to return these. I bought the light blue in my normal size 26 and i could button it but not zip. I know the reviews below say order a size up, but I think these are the kind of pants you'd need to try on before purchase. Good sale price, though."

"I ordered these in my usual jean size [29] in light blue. I was really impatient for them to come because I thought they would be the end-all-be-all of jeans. Wrong.
The 29 would be better labeled as a 24 or 25. These run SO small. I was really disappointed. I guess you have to be stick thin to wear these, and I definitely am not.
Other than their tiny size, the color of the jeans was beautiful. Unfortunately I waited too long and the size 32 or 33 that I'd have needed is out of stock.
Better luck next time."

"I bought them in Midnight in a 25. When you're a sort of paper-gremlin body type like myself (5'4 weighing 98lbs) and you dress the way I do, it's hard to find clothes that fit you properly. I have chicken legs that need skinny jeans or else I look emaciated. I have Jamaican cargo in the back (if you know what I mean) that I need to show off to feel good about myself. These jeans are tight (extremely) where they need to be tight and loose where they need to be loose (at the ankles.) Very flattering for the thin and (I would imagine) for the curvy."

amazing jeans
"love love LOVE these. I actually didn't order up a size or two because I have a small waist and was afraid that even if I could get them over my hips, they would be baggy in the waist. I ordered a 27 (5'5" 125 lbs) and though at first I thought I couldn't pull them up, I eventually did and they've loosened up since. they pull on perfectly now and fit like a glove. they're a great length, they don't crumple at the ankles too much, and the dark denim wash is amazing. even looks great with a shirt untucked. 5 stars!"

Amazing but....
"I love this jeans. They are really amazing! But they run extremely small. I'm usually a 24 and I ordered one of each color in 25 because they didn't have my size. The dark ones actually fit perfectly (no belt need) but the lighter size was way to small even tho it was the same size! Really beautiful but try 2 maybe even 3 sizes up!"

"When I first saw these jeans online I thought they were cute. After ordering them only 3 days ago, they finally arrived today. I tried them on and they are fabulous! If you like high waist jeans, then these are definitely the jeans for you. The only problems I ran into are that they're a tad long for my 5'3 frame and definitely run a size smaller than normal. Other than that I LOVE these jeans and can't wait to wear them!"

"I absolutely adore these jeans! I purchased them in my size although others said not too and to my surprise the jeans [in my size] fit! The length is great in my opinion. Usually, due to me being taller, I have a problem finding jeans that hit the top of my foot, but these jeans do and I am so relieved! Cons: had to tailor them myself to fit
"I love these jeans, but only because I sewed them to fit me. There's definitely a bizarre sizing issue with them - I tried on a 28 and couldn't pull them up past mid-thigh so I ordered a 29 and they were too roomy. Determined to keep them, however, I made them work. They do make your butt look flat because the pockets are so high (a very 80's guest star on Night Rider kind of look) but I like that they actually come up to my waist and really enjoy wearing them!"

great.
"these are my first pair of high waist jeans and i'm pretty pleased =] i got them in the black on sale and they're definitely worth the twenty bucks. they're great as far as skinniness goes and they're very flattering. i ordered a size up and i'm glad i did. they fit well, a little snug round the middle, but i figure either they'll stretch or i'll shed a couple pounds. no biggie =] i like them."
