"This clock is very cute. It is made of metal; although the clock mechanism is plastic. The alarm is plenty loud. My only negative comment would be that it's smaller than it appears in the picture online. However, I did not really check out the dimensions before I bought it. It's a good buy for the sale price. I bought two and will keep one and give one as a gift."
