"This is the best pair of jeans I have ever bought. It isn't too tight and isn't too loose. I have two of these and the color really doesn't come off. I have washed these in cold water more than 100 times and they still are very dark. If you buy a pair, consider not washing them, as they can be used for formal events! The color is that good!"

"I agree with 511fan - you have to size up for the waist on these to fit comfortably. I did, and wasn't disappointed with the leg width becoming looser. They were slim enough for me, but I can see someone who likes 'em skin tight around the legs being bummed. These are so rich & unique in color, though, that they were worth it to me."

"These 511's are great. The wash is amazing, they hardly come out with these dark deep indigo almost black jeans. However, the cut is not the same as other 511's. This cut is more tighter around the waist than normal 511's. So if you prefer your waist to be like your normal waist size fit on your other 511's you should go approximately only 1 size up. However, if you do that, the leg measurements will be a bit looser than your normal 511 cut. So you have to choose, which do you care about more, waist or the legs?
For me, I wear 30/32 in 511. I ordered 31/32's and lo and behold the waist was perfect, but the leg fit was looser than expected. So I exchanged it for a 30/32, my regular fit. I was lucky, the waist was extremely tight, but the legs were right where I wanted them, skin tight (Maybe even a tad too tight). I almost didn't fit the waist, but I can make it work bu sucking in a bit :).
If you can find a good measurement get these jeans! Luckily UO has a great exchange and return policy in which you can exchange without charge until you find the right size.

"I bought my jeans about a year ago and guess what! Absolutely no fade!!! The water in my area is harsh, i mean like just a few notches away from acid harsh. Fades all my clothes but these jeans keep there color like crazy! The fit is not quite skinny like you would think but, not quite loose or regular. Its the perfect in between for when you don't want the full on skinny look. I read the others saying they changed sizes. I didn't and im glad. looks and feel great one of the best jeans out there. >Ps if anyone knows where i could find some shoes like the ones in the picture i would be gracious if you would let me know thx."

"I'm a cheap B*****d. I like to buy one pair of jeans and stick with them until they fade away, or get mangled up too much. These jeans are rugged, very rugged, They withstand getting beat up very nicely. Also, the color barely fades, after many washes, So far, i've washed them only about six-eight times, and they look just as black as they were the first day. The 511 cut is great too. Everyone says they went two sizes up, to get a slimmer fit, but acutally, i went two sizes down, and got a slimmer fit. Wierd? I know. All in all, Best jeams to buy if you want a black pair of jeans that are ready for a beating, have a great cut, and have little/ to no fading."

"Just to confirm what previous reviewers have said about this product it is true that these jeans should be purchased two sizes up. These were my first pair of skinny jeans and I was weary that they would look really weird on me, but the fit wasn't akward... actually one may not even notice that these are skinny jeans... my sis didn't notice they were skinny jeans because the fit isn't exaggerated... I guess that's the word I'm looking for. Anyway I found that these jeans look best with high top sneakers... I've tried them with casual shoes for work and I don't quite like the look... again two sizes up because I orginally purchased these in my usual 32 waist and returned them for a 34."

"I'm very happy with these jeans, they have a great dark wash and are very comfortable. These aren't real dry denim, but it looks close to it, so it will feel a little stiff and tight when you try it on, but it loosens up pretty quickly.
I normally wear a 30, but I wanted a slimmer fit than Levi's 514s, so I sized up to a 31 and it looks and feels great!"

"All of my life i have had an athletic build. im 5'9" and i weigh about 175 and my legs are on the muscular side so i have had some preoblems with skinny jeans but i bought these 2 sizes bigger in the waist and they fit nicely. i usually wear a size 32 and it fits loosely so i bought these in 34 and they fit kind of snug around my waist. my legs are a bit cramped but i like it that way."

"I love Levis 511's; the slim fit and straight leg along with the Levis quality construction and denim make these my only jeans of choice.
With that, I always order two sizes up for a more casual fit. Even so, these are definitely smaller than most 511's I've purchased. The finish and color are way cool and I'm hopeful they'll stretch out after a bit."

Good look... tight fit.
"I was really stoked to get these in the mail. I thought I'd be safe ordering a 32 as I have been fine with several other Levi's slim fits with the same size. But for some reason I believe the wash made them fit super tight. I even went and tried on my old pairs of Levi's in the "alleged" same size and fit just to make sure it wasn't just me getting chunky, and they still fit just fine. I guess my advise in buying these would be go a size up. But I would definitely still buy these in a bigger size because the was and color is real cool."
