"I just received this in the mail. I usually have an issue with UO accessories- poor design and construction, cheaply made overall. However, this was pretty flawless- the feathers were all intact, no hot glue residue all over the place, netting wasn't torn. I got this in black. It is gorgeous, but I could have made something better for half the price. this is good for instant gratification, though.
The issue I have is with the netting, but it doesn't seem possible to package and ship this without it getting crumpled. The reviewer before me is smart in suggesting the use of steam to reshape it- I'd advise against getting too much steam or moisture on the feathers, though. I wish the clip weren't so large; it is clear, but it does peek out from under. I guess that's not that big of an issue, but I wish it were easy to remove so I could add my own clip or comb.
bottom line: fairly functional and beautiful hair accessory!"

I SOLVED THE PROBLEM WITH THIS LITTLE GEM!!!
"I own a vintage jewelry store but back in tha day I used to sell vintage hats as well and I remembered a women, who used to sell me old hats, who told me that if I ever wanted to fix the netting on a hat to just use steam. WELL IT WORKED!!! When I got this little gem of a hat in the mail it was all crinkled and sad. So I used steam from my tea kettle and it worked out all the kinks. It lays just like the one in the picture now... So excited to wear it on my 2nd date with my new boy toy!!! WHOOO HOOO- Urban Outfitters is tha bomb diggety!"

"I'm a photographer, so I'm always looking for accessories to make my portraits stand out, and when I saw this clip in peacock I fell in love with it. When it arrived, it was folded a little weird, and i tried really hard to make it sit over the models face like it does in the picture, but the way it's creased makes the fabric not sit as flat. I'm still trying to figure out how I can pull off wearing the clip in public, because it stands out so much, but it's still really good for someone who can pull these sort of accessories off :)"

"I love the idea of this clip, ive seen cocktail hats and veils 3 times as much as this one.
I wanted this clip for a cocktail event i was going to and i was really looking forward to getting it, i even opted for 3 day shipping.
When it arrived i was sort of dissapointed, it was packaged well, but the netting sort of has to be folded. I can definitely see how someone with thin hair would have issues with the clip, as it is rather large.
im still debating whether or not to keep it, i'd say dont buy this unless you go to the store and see it for yourself."

"I think the hairpiece itself is very pretty, really cute. My only problem is that I have really thin hair, and hte clip that the hairpiece is on just does not clip in my hair... it sort of just slides out.
But if you add a few bobby pins here and there it's a quick fix. Very cute/classic with some red lipstick."
