"My boyfriend swears by these shoes, he always wears the black ones and replaces them every time they wear out. I ordered him a pair of white ones for xmas and was bummed that the stripe on the sole wasn't as pictured - it's blue instead of black. Hopefully he won't mind but it bothers me..."

"I bought these a month ago (the black/white ones) and they were so cool. They were the right size and felt really comfortable. But in about 5 or 6 weeks of wearing them every single day the shoe got damaged a bit. There was a hole in the canvas of the shoe. I guess the canvas wasn't that strong. Some of the rubber chipped too. I really like these shoes, but I would be very careful with them. Don't wear them if the weathers bad or something cause the canvas can rip easily. Overal I really enjoy these shoes and I will get another pair :)"

"Perfect, for everyday, goes well with everything. The only problem is the color is not like picture, its darker, but after all great shoes, they are true to size, Im 10.5 In vans, converse. Go for it. Check the pics!"

"Good shoe. Simple and can pretty much go with anything, and look better with age. I would say they are fairly true to size. Overall good shoe if your looking for something classic or basic."

"Fit true to size. I had heard that they didn't and was worried about the fit, but I think that was because the people who were commenting on them were used to skate shoes, which exist pretty well entirely in a sizing world of their own (if I recall being fourteen correctly)."

"I currently have four pairs of these shoes with all levels of wear. Sometimes you want some fresh new ones and sometimes you want the ones with holes through the soles. Do yourself a favor and get some of these."

"What can I say? Classic vans. The look good with almost anything and fit quite true to size. I bought mine a size up because of a review I read, but honestly they were a little big when I did that. They are very comfortable."

Pros: comfortable to wear
Cons: toe part may distend if you wiggle your toes a lot
"I love the shoes' simple design and especially the contrasting but understated stitching. There's no significant padding on the inside, but just wearing socks is good enough as my feet don't chafe or callous when I wear them. Nice canvas fabric that's pleasant to the touch.
My advice is to buy half a size or a full size larger than you normally would; I normally wear size 10 or 10.5 (US) and I fit the size 11's I bought, though YMMV."
