"great product. Lasts a long time moistens really well, gives a nice subtle feminine shine and smells lovely. only thing if your getting it shipped, when mine arrived it was all on one side of the tin probably because during its trip it got melted.If its possible buy in store"

"i just recently bought this and i love it!! im really not a fan of lipstick or lipgloss and i feel like most chapstick wears off too quickly. this is very silky and light and smells really good. it usually lasts for about 2 hours for me and keeps my lips really soft."

"I use this every day. It's nearly sheer with a slight shade of pink, although it seems like it would come out dark peach. I've been using it for years and still love it!"

"LOVE this!! Bought two, one for home, one for work. Feels great on your lips, minty and shiny and smooth. Better than any "gloss", I'm not a fan of all that glossy gloss and this gives your lips a good shine without being overly obnoxious. Not sticky at all!!"

"the perfect lip 'stuff'. somewhere between chapstick and gloss, this lip balm has the power of both (although it doesnt stay glossy for too long, your lips will feel moisturized for a good while). the very slight hint of color helps me not look so corpselike (i am a pale redhead) when i use it on my cheeks and lips.
if yours does happen to melt and stick to the top of the container, scoop it out and heat it in a small saucepan until it becomes liquid. then pour it back into the container and leave it in the fridge overnight. in the morning it should be good as new.
also, the old timey design on the tin is so cute! i love pulling this stuff out of my bag."

"I have been using rose salve for years. I swear by this stuff. I use it on my lips and cheeks for a dewy flushed look. Perfect for cuticals and dry skin too. I never leave my house without it! Never thought I could love anything more than the origional.. then there was mint! Soo great!"

"It smells nice, it comes in a nice little tub that I'm sure will last me forever, and it doesn't leave a "yucky" thick feeling on your lips as most chipsticks or lip balms do.
However, after reading about it, I'd say it's slightly overrated...it doesn't perform as well as I was hoping or make my lips as moist as I thought it would...perhaps I should apply it more?"

"This stuff is a miracle. I am always looking for the perfect lip gloss that looks good with my skin tone & moisturizes my frequently chapped lips. This isn't greasy, and makes my lips super hydrated, and they always seem to look significantly larger after I put this on. It's also a nice, non-tacky, neutral & natural shade, and the scent is stimulating & pleasant. I swear by this stuff."

Lovely
Pros: fragrance, gloss, minty-ness
Cons: not long lasting, can melt
"I absolutely love the fragrance of this item--a true rose note-- and I also enjoy the sensation of the mint on my lips. The amount of glossiness is great, just enough. The only downside to this item is that it isn't very long lasting, and if left in a hot car it melts. Still, I love it and it is a staple in my cosmetics bag."
