Pretty Shoes!

"These shoes are bright and comfortable. I imagine mine will fall apart like most people's seem too, but my biggest problem is that they smell horribly. I got them a week ago and despite leaving them outside for the whole time and using febreeze and an organic shoe spray, they smell strongly of chemicals and you can smell them from across the room. Hopefully the smell will go away so it won' give me a headache to wear them!"

the sole broke after 3 times

"i bought these snickers In cordoroy red, and wore them 3 times, only for light walk and getting around.
they broke the 4 time, both of them, completly.
even though they were very cheap, i planned for them to last during the summer at list.
well - they didnt make it through spring.
and i thought UO was a quality store"

"I'm wearing these shoes right now, and they're fabulous. They fall apart like crazy though, but still 5-star worthy. I walk everywhere in these and they're comfy and practical. They're super cute and people always say, where'd you get your vans? No honey, these aren't vans, these are shoes that look similar but are $30 cheaper. And yeah, mine are cracked but they still work just perfectly for me. You cant even tell! I love these though. I'm definitely trying to buy some more right now!"

"I love these shoes! Like many reviewers have mentioned, these shoe fall apart pretty quickly. Honestly though, who has ever purchased shoes this cheap that didn’t fall apart? These shoes are great, the colors are vibrant, and I continue to get compliments on these shoes until they are literally falling apart. They go with everything and are comfortable and cute. I’ve walked miles in multiple pairs of these shoes and never got one blister from them. About to buy two more pair!"

"These are my favorite shoes! The other reviews are right that they begin to fall apart, but I've had mine for over a year, and yes there are some cracks in the bottom, but they are so cheap and they go with everything! If I were to recommend anything on this site, it would be these shoes!"

Perfect Inexpensive Summer Shoes

"I've been buying two pairs of these shoes (because the 2 for $30 deal is great, especially for UO prices) for the past two summers. Because of the good price, I don't mind wearing these down until they completely fall apart. I go to a lot of music festivals, and these are my go to shoes for that. They're so light and comfortable. I don't worry about trashing them because I can just buy 2 new pairs the next summer. They're super cute too, can wear them with anything (jeans, skirts, shorts, summer dresses, etc.). Love these, and will continue to buy every summer as long as UO is carrying them"

"These shoes come in a nice variety of colors and are light, but have no support whatsoever. They last, luckily, even a couple of weeks. The bottoms crack/split, as do the sides and this is from every day activities - something as simple as walking or crouching down. They're just poorly made, which is unfortunate. I bought one pair and then a second to give them another try. I will never buy another pair again. Spend the money on something more durable."

Poor quality - don't hold up for long.

"These shoes are terrible. The white edges crack and split after only a few weeks at the least. The soles are practically non existent. I understand these are light, summer shoes, but some support the slightest bit would be nice. Don't waste your money. Better to drop a tiny bit more cash and get shoes that aren't embarrassing to wear after a few weeks."

"well first of all, I have 3 pairs of these shoes and they ALL smell like beef jerky. People have told me my feet smell like beef jerky after I wear them. Also, when i bend the shoe, the rubber soles are COMPLETELY falling apart. The soles are ripped. Other than that, these are insanely rad."

"I've been through probably four different pairs of these shoes. They last me about two months before they're completely destroyed. YES, they do fall apart. But for me they are worth it- super comfortable, and I walk A LOT. Although it could be annoying to have to buy a new pair every couple of months, they always have new colors and patterns, so a change is nice. They are a good price for the quality, and while they last they are incredibly comfortable and cute. I even took a pair to a camp this summer where I walked about four miles every day and they were great (although if you need a lot of support then I do not recommend this). Overall, these are my favorite shoes and I will continue to buy them as long as the price stays the way it has for the past year or so."

"These shoes are a good buy for $18, but they are not good quality, which is to be expected for only $18. However, they are wayyy too big. I don't understand what it is--other UO brand shoes fit me fine. Urban Outfitters, please fix the sizing on these shoes so people can actually buy and wear them."

"I have been wearing the black and white ones for a while now. I don't like flip flops, so these are the best cool, lightweight alternative without going for a name brand with a thicker sole.
I bought a few pairs a year ago, and again recently. I liked the batch I received with the first purchase better than this batch. These new ones seem to be super wide, (I bought mine in-store and checked them all and they were all this way) which is saying a lot seeing as these specific shoes are in the woman's section and I'm a guy. To stop my foot from moving around, I put in aftermarket insoles and that seemed to feel better.
No, they do not last long, but with a sole this thin, yet still grippy and flexible, it's inevitable. The rubber smell doesn't bother me, but definitely noticeable. I agree that for what you get they are a little expensive. Other than that, cool shoe. I wear mine into the ground. You can only wear them so long until the heel wears away so much they are unwearable, though."

"I love these shoes. They go with just about everything. The bad part is they wear easily. Probably the only thing you can do to prevent getting holes in them is dont wear them. The lining is probably the most fragile part. I duck taped the inside heel of my most recent pair, which has made them last longer. But the inevitable holes came in and now I need a new pair. All in all these shoes did last me almost a year, so I'll probably keep buying them. If they were even just $5 cheaper it would be perfect."

"I love these sneakers. They are my go-to shoes everyday. I got the gray color and the navy but the navy doesn't look nice to me so I will be exchanging for the blue color instead. I'm usually a size 8.5 but I had to get a 9 for these but that's not a problem. They are so comfortable! I'm planning to buy more :) But I'm afraid that the bottom will rip soon since I'm wearing these everyday now but they are just too comfortable! MUST HAVE!"

"They're obviously not as good of quality as the name brand sneakers like this, but I'm not complaining. The soles are pretty thin, but like I said, you get what you paid for. I bought these for work where I climb up and down the bays in a stock room, so paying the cheap price for these rather than the expensive price for the name brand was worth it, even if they do break over time like other reviews say."

"i've bought several of these over the years and the quality varies. i bought my first pair about a year ago and they're still in good condition, but the pair i bought a few months ago just ripped right across the sole.
i like these because they're pretty cheap. i usually wear a 7.5 in shoes, but i get these in 8 and they fit nicely."

"I have gotten these shoes before and I love them. They are really cheap and go with everything! But, they again, are extremely cheap. I duct-taped the bottom of mine to post-pone the holi-ness. So, if you are looking for an on-the-go shoe then KUDOS, and I say go for it. But, if you are looking for a really sturdy every day kinda shoe, I say no-go. I usually get like 4 pairs if I do get them. :)
*p.s yes, there is a pretty bad rubbery smell when you get them, but I really don't care about that, and it goes away after a few weeks.

"These shoes are incredible!!! You can slip them on and off easily, they are so comfy, and look adorable! I have a red pair, and they are my favorite shoes. I read that they smell really bad(like burning rubber), so i was surprised when they didn't. They do wear out pretty quick, but i still looove them, and i got them on sale, so for the price you can't go wrong!!!"
